Drafting Talented Football Players isn’t Enough

Drafting talented football players isn’t enough. They need to be coached, learn to gel together as a team, and grow into their roles.

Not making excuses for current players on the team but rather trying to combat the we should have drafted Josh Allen etc talk here. Hard to say if those players would have realized their potential here.

It’s amazing the resources we have devoted towards positions like CB and OL and with very few, sometimes elite players fizzling out.

That is a sign of a structural problem such as coaching, my conditioning, or karmic debt for the last two super bowls.
It’s fitting this post

Is on the same page as the toilet bowls. Giants ownership has been flushing millions of dollars away with pitiful management/coaching/scouting for the last ten years…..their system is critically flawed…..let’s hope a 3-14 season will bring great changes, the pisarchek fumble was November 1978…this team had close to that last night but the capper could be a Hindenburg esque performance this coming Sunday.
Our personnel dept sucks

Our actual players are terrible. Our cap management sucks. Our actual coaching sucks. It stems from ownership to an outdated and arrogant GM who thinks he's smarter than everyone else. So yeah, talented football players aren't enough. But that is literally just one facet of an organization that is bottom of the league in every single aspect.
