Did the players quit on Judge last night?

japanhead : 11/23/2021 10:02 am
We know Judge quit on the players, as we saw the team lazily going three and out and punting with 5 minutes left in the game. But how can the players not have mentally checked out at this point?

I realize the new standard for a successful season per Mara isn't whether they have a winning season but whether or not the players quit on the coaches during the inevitable losing season. Are we at that point yet?

Judge apparently alluded to it, saying that the players have a right to be frustrated or whatever. It would seem he is losing the team if he hasn't lost them already.

Watching the last minute of the first half last night really makes me miss a guy like Coughlin, whose hurry-up offense was like a swiss fucking watch, vs. the dogshit mess we see at the end of halves from Judge.
Judge sucks

players have definitely checked out

We'll see if he can shock the system enough this week to get them back
I noticed a lack of intensity on both squads

Yesterday. Lack of hustle getting off blocks, not a lot of hard tackling. The Bucs went into the office and efficiently put a beat down on a middling team. The Giants D looked less than intense at times throughout the game.

I don’t think “quit” is the right word. More like the Giants didn’t go in there expecting to win and when the Bucs started to pull ahead, they didn’t believe they could make a comeback. “Resigned” is a better word than “quit.”
Team is definitely checked out

and more and more players will be making business decisions from here on in.

last night where some guys clearly half-assed it on both sides of the ball. And I am not talking about taking a play off...this was moreso they didn't care.

Golladay was an easy one to spot, but there were others. Some of the names are surprising.

Anybody else see it?
Wouldn't you kind of be frustrated

if the Coaches repeatedly do not put you in a position to succeed? The defensive alignment last night was absurd. The offense timing and playcalling was garbage. I don't advocate quitting, but I would get why a less professional professional would say what is the point (other than being a professional).
Talking the talk...

got Judge the step in the door. Unfortunately, for him and the Giants, that step was squarely on a banana peel. Any good will he had is now lost... and that goes for Garrett and Graham.

no i agree, i understand it completely. but there have been apologist posters on this forum talking about how the players continue to play hard for judge or some shit like that.

it didn't seem like that to me last night.

i saw more "quit" in the players last night than i ever saw under shurmur (maybe jenkins or eli apple being the exceptions), or even mcadoo in that 2017 season.
One word----Yep. Any any fans he had left are gone.

Golladay is a real disappointment this year. Mostly injured and when in games, low effort. If your best players aren't giving it their all, what do you expect from the rest? What a mess . . .
I believe so

It was noticeable. And not a good look for JJ.

I don't think Golladay is a fan of Jones and it is bringing out his selfish/dogging it side. There were red flags on this discussed before he signed...
