Folks here think I'm just a Daniel Jones homer, but that is the kind of crap that makes a QB look horrible to most fans until its broken down. Nowhere to throw the football, no protection.
Now Jones missed throws in the game too, but things often look different when you sustain drives.
The Giants were 1-of-9 on 3rd down yesterday, including the play you just highlighted.

I think most 'Jones haters' acknowledge that multiple things are true. The O-line is bad, play calling is bad AND Jones is bad.

I'm with you Eric. But someone has to take responsibility for this. Daniel Jones is just a symptom for this sick offense. Who is the cause?
and ultimately that, notwithstanding last night's wretched performance, the giants stay with jones for next year, forego a qb in the draft this year, and try to get him some more help.
the level of dysfunction around him would be hard for anyone to overcome.
Its s good thing we had 2 weeks to put that play in
That falls on Garret and on Judge. But Jones looked just as terrible as this play design on other plays during the game. It's a carrousel of embarrassing football all the way around.
That is just... sickening. How is Garrett still working here? Baffling.
I was so excited for Judge, I really bought in. But he is just another McAdoo. With better presentation skills. He will end up getting canned here and end up as an assistant somewhere. He won't even sniff a coordinator job.
I feel like Belichick is laughing maniacally right now. "They all still think they can hire my coordinators and be good! LMAO!"

I've been watching football for a long time. A QB always looks bad when the players around him aren't where they are supposed to be. Every player on every play has their responsibility. Yeah, Daniel Jones played like shit last night...and looked bad. Who looked good?

So on the game thread last night the Jones haters were noting that picking up that first down was next to impossible, or just whining about Jones? Easy to check
and got on my phone to watch about 5 plays on what I think was the first possession. The giants got into the red zone and had to kick the field goal, on two of the plays Jones had wide open receivers and he threw somewhere else. On one of the plays he just starred down the receiver the whole time BUT Golladay came across the middle of the field and was open AND he had crossed the view of Jones and yet Jones didn't see him?
I have supported Jones but after watching those plays I have given up hope. That drive should have resulted in a TD, and I blame Jones more than anyone for that not happening.

I wasn't working. Was watching on my 4k tv. I saw mass confusion from the offense all night. For that I blame Garrett.

Price looks lost.
3 rushers to defeat our 5 offensive linemen
3 to guard our wide receivers who all ran to the same spot. wonder if they could have done it w/ 2 people.
1 to guard Barkley
Amazing.

The whole thing stinks, but assigning blame percentage is probably an exercise in futility at this point.
If we are lucky, the rebuild will begin in the next few months. If not, we have more seasons like this one to look forward to.

Vortex of Suck
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Perfectly put.

Don't leave out Price...he literally touched nobody on that play. No doubt he could have helped Hernandez...who needs all the help he can get.

Freshmen high school offenses look better coached than this.
LOL!
Yet here it is 11:35am on the east coast and no Garrett dismissal news yet.
