I am not saying these two are answers and I know Brederson has been beat up. But clearly Solder and Hernandez are not the answer. And I am sure both Peart and Brederson will have rough moments.
But why not just give these young players a shot? I mean can it really get worse?
Brederson and Peart should both be starting.

Last minute throw shit on the wall move from DG...
I want to see Thomas and 4 new other guys...
Time to clean house I’m afraid- again!
(Judge said in the spring “ have to let the young guys play and develop)
Clearly he was just talking out of his ass. He’s a blowhard who can’t coach on this level. Being an obvious liar doesn’t cut it. We see right through it.
AND they run behind Hernandez and Solder rather than behind Thomas?
Clueless across the board.
Brederson and Peart should both be starting.
Price is the worst of the bunch of trash we have tried on this oline since maybe Ian Allen
Brederson and Peart should both be starting.
Agreed. He's terrible. Easy beaten by inside swim moves and repeatedly walked back to the QB. Just like Hernandez.
They can't be worse than the guys out there.
Play the best linemen
Not that Solderr is any good but he may be better inside
Both guys are not only gone after the season, but also liabilities
Bredeson should see time. Got to see what we have in him. Traded a 4th to get him and he is under contract through 2023.
Sack was in garbage time and its the first one he gave up all year. Plus, he scored our only TD!

Was elite last night? 3 pressures and a sack... Smh

recovering from a ankle injury.

What is it with Price? Is he just a dummy? He managed to not hit anyone on a 3 man rush that resulted in a sack.
I have to imagine he was only rated highly coming out of college because of physical traits.
Brederson and Peart should both be starting.
Really, it was a microcosm of the OL troubles. They knew Lemieux was hurt all summer. They knew they had no real depth. They just assumed Lemieux would be ready to go and did nothing until the very last minute. You can't just roll the dice on every single player you sign off the scrap heap. 4 years of fixing the OL yielded the same results and pretty much the same level of talent as before. As far as I am concerned, OL alone is the reason to fire Gettleman and do it now.
Rolling the dice on starters coming back from injury or counting on players with few or no starts to become regular starters has been the story of the Giants offensive line for 10+ years.
For all of his blind spots in drafting, Accorsi was pretty good at putting offensive lines together. Reese and Gettleman had ineffective/nonexistent pipelines to replace those players and our team went down the tubes when those linemen got old.
To be fair, as much of a mess as the O line has been, that wasn't their plan. Lemieux and Gates were to be the starters. And their two planned backups decided to retire.

And the excuses just keep coming and coming... The whole game was garbage time
