He had great success in Cleveland when he took over the play calling in 2018 after Jackson was fired but was a disaster when he called plays as the head coach in 2019. Ideally he is like a Shurmur or Norv Turner - really good at designing plays, despite not having the skills to be a good head coach.
Significant change comes in the offseason when they can install something new.
I'm curious to see how much Judge lets Kitchens do some cooking on his own. If Judge puts the conservative stranglehold on the gameplan, this won't work.

but the ladies had better watch out. The guy is a playa.
maybe he’ll have better luck now if he’s promoted, as he wasn’t getting lucky on his looks. Although he probably could have done better at the bars last year when he was a “tight ends” coach….the pickup lines are endless :)
He could have used Bret as his wingman, but alas, he's moved on...
What is a kitchens offense??
He actually tailored to offense to what he had. That is what we were promised here but never received.
Crap called by a different guy is still crap.
Wouldn't you if you had to watch this offense operate and you were helpless.

Excellent point.
Whether the Defense falters week to week, I think there is no question Graham instills some level of fluidity to his game plans.
Jason Garrett was selling the same old remake from the 90s. I hope Kitchens freshens the place up and removed the round peg from the square holes.

I think what you may see is better situational play calling and better Redzone play calling. Maybe even better use of offensive personnel. Regardless of scheme, that could make all the difference.
