10 year contract so that takes one name off the table for USC & LSU, two programs rumored to be going after him.
Also, new CFP out tonight.
My guesses on top 10:
1) Georgia
2) OSU
3) 'Bama
4) Cincy
5) Michigan
6) ND
7) OK State
8) Baylor
9) Oregon
10) Ole Miss

I think the top four will be:
Georgia
Ohio State
Bama
Michigan
And Michigan only to add more drama to this weekend's game between the OSU and the Team Up North...
I think Cincy gets the nod in for now. They. routed SMU. The board will play a little politics for the time being.
This season shows why they need to expand the playoffs imo.
Put them in for now. Then you screw em at the final meeting. Think ND still has a good shot if Bama loses or Michigan beats Ohio State. Still a few scenarios which is why they need expansion.
I thought Franklin for sure was a goner to USC after switching agents to CAA, but the buyout of the contract works for both parties. Penn St. gets stability, a top QB recruit and recruiting for one more full cycle, and if an SEC power comes calling next December, the buyout is still prohibitive until 2023. Franklin gets ungodly money for someone who can't beat OSU or Michigan.
You are not crazy.
Franklin is a great recruiter, but a subpar in-game/big game coach. I was really hoping he would go elsewhere...
I'm rooting for Michigan - and think they have more than a puncher's chance - but OSU has completely owned this rivalry for the better part of the last two decades.
