Alex's example was one of my motivations in recovering from last rites with sepsis in the 70 percent mortality rate in Dec 2019. Owning the disfigured limb and choosing to live as much life as possible got me to walk again after 2 years. Life is a gift and with it comes loss. It is so sweet to be back. With tears, God bless Alex Smith.

Thank you for the good thoughts. Alex's testament is displaying of our best values when we get off the floor as we accept the help of others. He is doing the good work being a light for others. That's a Thanksgiving.
