Fourth line goon. Good for him.

Not upset. Confused. Clean hit by the smallest guy on the ice and both Fox and Laf lose their shit. Overcompensating a lot for last year it seems. [/quote
It wasn't a dirty hit, but it wasn't exactly clean either. Pageau's shoulder hit Lindgren in the side of the head.
Pageau hits a bigger guy with a clean check (shoulder to chest on a guy several inches taller than him.. Fox takes a run, but doesn’t fight him he just jumps him. Then several minutes later Laf goes bat shit and trips him and then jumps him. It’s like they all are just playing the Wilson fiasco over and over in their heads and saying “not again!!!”
It was a game the Rangers had in hand against a team missing literally half their roster. It was a well played game by the Rangers but that was a bad look at the end. If you have a score to settle there is another game Sunday.
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to my Blueshirt bretheren.
I'm ok with Fox tussle but Laf was a bit too much IMHO.
Glad Lindgren returned to the bench at end of the game.
Kreider off to an unbelievably hot start this year.
The Bridgeport Islanders actually looked decent for a period
but ultimately the roster comprised with 8 AHL players showed it's limitations.
That, and the fact that the actual Ilsanders handle the puck on their stick like a hand grenade and can't buy a goal right now. They are pressing and it shows. Hopefully some players get off COVID protocol soon and they start to look like an NHL team again.
RE: RE: RE: Looks like Laf is finally finding a role in the NHL
A good win in Boston on national TV. Igor as usual the #1 star. But Gauthier had a great game. The Rangers may have something with their 3rd line. It's fun watching this team develop. Kakko looks good on the 1st line. When Mika starts converting his chances it will be tough for the other teams to match up.

there was a lot of discussion about the game in the NHL thread.
the 1st period set the tone. Igor kept it a game and the Rangers tied it with 5 seconds left. After the 1st period the Rangers controlled the play or at worst were even the rest of the game. They were badly outplayed in the 1st, but Igor was the difference.
Love it

Beats the alternative of not doing enough. I like this version a lot more.
