Every single time I watch these, I seem to see Solder having a "that's the worst tackle play I have ever seen" rep. Yet then the next time, there is one even worse.
Billy Price doing. His head never swivels, how many times did he miss work, he is god awful, he blew that three man rush look on the left side never check the right to help god awful Hernandez on Suh.
on the Blue Rush podcast: Tynes couldn't under how in the hell Peart was good enough to start at LT for Thomas but somehow not good enough to start over Solder last week at RT! It was a great point. Let's hope Peart gets the start this week!

I noticed that also, Gates would have tattooed Suh's ribs on that play.
after the OC change Joe Judge is not HC material IMO. Play Peart and Bredeson there is no chance they could worse. Solder and Hernandez shouldn't even be part of the active 46 unless there is no one else healthy left.
RE: If Solder and Hernandez are still the starters

100 percent agree. Hell I would just cut them and carry some practice squad guys to send a message. No way they are any worse than those two.

agreed we have shuffled in 4 different attempts at LG and Hernandez has been worst guard of all of them.
“It's really apparent that we have more confidence in our offensive line than you guys do,” Giants general manager Dave Gettleman said on Saturday afternoon in a media session with reporters. “We're happy with the group we have.”
was the worse I have seen them play all year. Everytime we went to pass guys went through the Oline and headed to the QB with no one blocking. Nate and Hern have to go.
It once again shows why it is so difficult for this offense with this OL. Teams generate pressure with 3-4 people and drop 7.
The offense has to be perfect to go down the field to score TDs
"We're happy with the people he have."? Funny Farm Happy?
Gettleman should have been fired afterhis first draft.
Why is he still here?-
We thought he'd be an improvement. He's worse than Reese!.

I get it. But this isn’t the oline he said that about. No Gates no Shane, no looney, no Felton. Though I do believe he thought Peart would be starting.

You don't get it. Hernandez sucks. And Solder sucks. And Peart can't even beat out Solder. And Solder was os grossly overrated by him. So bad that Peart had to play there.
So two of his OL spots that he was referring to DID NOT HAVE INJURIES. And you think that's okay?
I'm going with Edge with the 1st pick and then the 2nd first rounder is OL. I'm hoping they can do a small trade back with that 2nd pick to get another 2nd rounder in 2022 and maybe a 2nd or 3rd for 2023. As it stands now, the 2nd rounder needs to be another OL. The trick part for next draft will be the two 3rd rounders, IMO.
They can go with the third OL choice, but...
The LB group needs some help (speed and instinctive)...
Then, there is a need at DL and maybe TE
If they don't go OL in Rd 3, then in needs to be address in Rd 4. I'm hoping they get two OL starters next year. If they truly need four new starters, then it may be another long season.
Looney and Felton were fringe guys barely hanging on in the league.
Bredeson and especially Skura offer much more upside, athleticism, and quality.
I actually think Skura is outplaying anything Shane Lemieux did last year. Skura is was a good acquisition for the time, and is a better player than the other interior lineman in camp.
The big loss was Gates, seconded by Thomas missing time.
The real fatal flaw in this line was coaching and management coming out of camp and believing, despite rock solid evidence to the contrary, that Hernandez and Solder were in the neighborhood of an NFL battery.
I would like to see 3 changes in the OL for final 7 games

You are barking up the wrong tree to defend what Gettleman has done with this OL unit.
Gates and Thomas injuries hurt but newsflash...NFL players get injured and miss games/seasons. The real reason these feel like a catastrophe is because they were the only two reasonably competent guys in the whole OL unit. And that is on the moron GM named above.
And the only thing planned out worse at Tackle and Center these past few seasons was the nonsense thinking at Guard. Thinking they would get by with Lemieux, Hernandez and Fulton and then a bunch of backup guys that retired or were cut and were replaced with last minute trades from team's that probably considered cutting whom they gave us.
Just awful to piss another season down the drain. Just because our Front Office cannot seemingly find a few guys that can play decent enough at OL for an Offense continuing to die on the vine by scoring less than 20 points per game.
Dave botched this offensive line rebuild by severely overrating the talent they had acquired. Ultimately it will cost his job. There's no point continuing to rehash that.
Now the conversation starts with Joe Judge, he is the Head Coach after all and it's his responsibility to make sure the talent that is acquired is developed. Does anyone believe Judge has done a good job developing the talent on this roster?
Also, It's obvious Solder is done but yet he continues to start. Not only has that hurt the team, but it also hinders the development of Peart, and prevents further evaluation. If Judge can't make a move as obvious as this one is he the right man for the job?
As for Hernandez, he's regressed as have many of the Giants' young players since Joe Judge and his staff's arrival. Leading me back to the point that the lack of development falls squarely on the Head Coach's shoulders and he should be held accountable for it.
And just one final comment here.. I'm not sure where this Skura love stems from but he has not performed any better than any of the other interior players.

Price is the worst OL we have had since Ian Allen

Now there are absolute chumps at OC and LG to play with Hernandez the unathletic dummy.
Literally the worst decision Judge made in a season of horrible decisions.
The offense has to be perfect to go down the field to score TDs

Skura at C
Brederson at LG
I have seen enough of Price at center and Solder at RT.
Make the changes mentioned above now.

1) Price and Bredeson cost assets and Skura did not
2) His pass pro has been demonstrably better than Lemieux
I think the Giants will, and need to replace all three current interior lineman.

Price is horrible but HERNANDEZ is worse. Is Bredeson healthy?
