I think pretty much every episode of South Park for the last 8 or so years has sucked majorly, but this special is absolutely HILARIOUS. I won't spoil anything, but it's absolutely fantastic.
Not going to waste my time. Those last two specials were just horrific. The last one they put out in March was one of the least funny SP episodes ever. They out did the first special by being very very bad.
Probably the last of the good good old days of that show was 2007.
SP had maybe one bland/boring episodes here and there early on but the complete misses didn't start until 2008. After 2011 or so, they became more regular.
PC principal they killed it. I think it was season 19 IIRC. They are too prone to having entire season long arcs imo and forcing commentary on current events (though much better than like SNL lectures).
The episode with Heather Swanson/macho man was one of the best of all time and I think came out last year or the year before?
I don't have Paramount annoying I thought they were on HBO max.
Is all South Park content going to be on Paramount plus now and not Hbo max? They went from Netflix to Hulu to HBOmax to now Paramount?
PC Principal was fine because he replaced an unimportant character and you do kind of have to mention the shift in the world. The way people do (sadly) talk these days it's as if they're in some sort of fraternity and all say the same exact thing from a perspective of superiority... and that's evident on this very site.
But yeah, 2014 is when it started to lose its "charm" and when they switched from doing 14 episodes a season down to 10 is when the product started to decline even more.
The older format was definitely better. Instead of just doing 10 in a row in the fall and playing catch up with society, you had 7 episodes starting in March and then 7 more starting in the fall. It was something to look forward to.
South Park was my favorite show growing up but the world has become one big South Park episode so truth is, indeed, stranger than fiction.

No fucking way. Post 2005 South Park is better than Cripple Fight? Super Best Friends? Asspen? LOTR episodes? The Weapons episode?
I think you described yourself being nuts!
I think if you are a t-mobile subscriber, they are giving P+ free membership for a year.

Hard to keep up

Imaginationland was after that but I kind of agree.
I felt like the cardinal episode that was a complete miss was the Britney one. Her shooting off her face and something to do with corn. Meh.
Miserable? Right because someone doesn't like a poorly done episode of a show that's been on for 20 plus years. Same old lazy replies.
Also if you did your own research you would see reviews on both specials were average.
