It just seems to me like our Giants are a bunch of pussies. Seems like teams get right against us no matter if we’re playing at home or on the road.
Judge said he was going to build a smart and tough football team that doesn’t beat itself with mental errors. Can we see that kind of team today please?
but I actually think the Giants will score over 21-24 points today. Lets hope the defense doesn't give up 30+.
I guess you have not scene the Philly pass rush yet. This will be the best pass rush we face all year. We will not score more then 10 points today. Book it.
Go ahead and ruin another perfectly fine Sunday. All my chores and work are done. Chili is slowly simmering on the stove. I’m ready to take it up the tail pipe. Do your worst.

The Eagles played their first game on October 15, 1933, against the New York Giants at the Polo Grounds in New York City. They lost the game 56–0.
Eagles got pressure with four. Solder was beaten and we again couldn't handle a stunt. So Jones has to throw off his back foot and we go three and out.
make any attempt to block on the Jones run? Did jones just blindly run in to the defenders? I didn't get a go look but it seemed to end pretty abruptly
is holding a lot because he's being beaten around the edge on almost every pass play. I don't expect us to have a big day passing the ball. Like almost every other team, the Eagles know they can get pressure with four or five and just drop everyone else back in coverage. We are also missing Shepard, Toney, Rudolph, and Smith. They can also probably stop our run game with the same number of defenders, so look for Jones to be our leading rusher.
Is actually crazy. It was a good no call and would have been a tough catch. Ball was placed perfectly
Perfectly would mean it was either a back shoulder fade (which it wasn’t) or placed higher so Golladay could use his height against a smaller corner. It was a poor throw as the receiver had little chance to make a play on the ball.
only looked at Golladay, and the ball was underthrown.
I know you hate Jones but please at least be fair. The WR was interfered with on the play.
I do not hate Jones. I have in fact repeatedly said that I want to wait until the end of the year before making any final determination about him, although I admit as of right now I don't want to pick up his fifth year option.

I cant remember the last time a Giants QB had a pocket like that to throw the ball
Elite QBs can overcome not having a pocket.
Yea but he should not have thrown it 3 feet behind engram on the little go route. You can throw a 4 yard pass off your back foot or at least should be able to
Aside from being practically a rookie ; thrown into the mix when they jettison a mvp qb who is playing great on another team; being a late round selection in qb skinny year ; and coming off a 3 TD game? Yea aside from that ...

Lol, ok then!
Late round selection? Second round is late round?
I said in a thing QB class. Under normal cirumstances he would be 3rd or 4th
Jalen hurts = 35 years of everything nfl Philly— every ingredient mashed together: luck, talent, weirdness, running, and bullshit, all thrown into a mixing blender then dumped out on to a football field. He’s everything stupid and annoying about Philly. Fuck him.
I know, not that anyone should care.
The nonstop obsesive crying about jones just ruins this thread - like having a house full of upset 5 year olds every sunday

Keep moving those goalposts! BTW - 3rd and 4th rounders are still midround picks, not late.
the problem with Barkley is he will give you a nice run once in a while but majority of the time he gets o yards or negative yards and it kills the whole drive
Get down near the red zone but lose yards because of penalties, bad play calling, and poor blocking. Then Jones is under immediate pressure and almost throws an INT that bounces of Engram's hands.

What part of majority of the time and not that specific play did you not understand ? He puts the team in 2nd and 3rd long way too much to and ends up killing drives majority of the time
It just proves this Organization is broken and dysfunctional from the top to the bottom.. The GM has screwed this franchise up for years. On top of that, they have the worst coaching staff in the NFL! It just wasn't one OC in Garrett, it all of them..
Maybe we can all talk about the elephant in the room as too why this Offense is trash. With the bad Oline it can be mediocre. But with a bad Oline AND a bad QB it is Trash, meaning the worse offense in football these past two years.
To give the Giants a chance to win. But at least we fired Garrett…
Was Garrett doing anything well to deserve keeping his job ?
No, but if we let go everyone who wasn’t doing their job we’s also have an interim coach, an interim GM, a new QB, new RB, and 4 new linemen.
He was the easiest to let go in middle of the season. You cant really replace anyone else in middle of the season but you can replace an OC and install new schemes
than pre-halftime scores given up by the defense? I'd love to see a deep dive on historical numbers. Be shocked if they weren't the worst. It's unreal.

Whats the point of this? It's not an all or nothing question. Garret sucks, he deserved to go. The GM is going. These linemen are going. Fix something when you can fix it.

How about a bad OL, very little from the running game , receivers who dont get open, and a coach who is a giant pussy ?
Btw im not saying Jones doesnt deserve any criticism but I'm not really seeing what he did today to deserve blame so far ?

Not saying you are wrong. But These things are all magnified when you don't have a talented thrower.
Jason Garrett's fault, look at the difference now. Look how great Daniel Jones is now. But wait, he needs am offensive line, great weapons, and te right offensive coordinator, then he will be great. LOL. If he was even going to be a good QB, it would be obvious. The only thing obvious is that he is a big part ofthe problem. He stinks, as does Saquon Barkley.
I'd debate that. A lot more pre-snap motion and more deep drops. They're looking to drive the ball downfield more but Philly likely counted on that. They just can't block. That's not gonna change regardless of who's calling the plays.
RE: RE: RE: Well one unexpected outcome of Garrett's firing
I think he realizes he might have been prevent defense punching his OWN ticket to the parking lot
Or he realized that blitzing Tom Brady is idiotic, but blitzing Jalen Hurts isn’t.
Agreed. Blitzing Tom Brady is stupid, the problem is we dont have pass rushers upfront. I mean these things you have to understand, no offense.
Absolutely a dumb post.
You blitz to manufacture pressure because you can’t get there with your pass rush. If you have good pass rushers Tuck and Strahan you don’t blitz much.

Unlike during Eli's retirement ceremony, John Mara did not address the crowd. There was a smattering of boos when Strahan mentioned the Maras and Tisches, but Strahan turned it around by saying the Giants will be back.
To start the 2nd half. Totally understandable for the Giants to accept the ball to start tbe game since every other fucking team decides to take the ball in the second half, but kets face it, the Giants want to set the tone with our tremendous offensive team. There is not one aspect of this team that can make you feel good about the organization. Joe Judge has proven he is a fucking moron.

A smattering? Sounded like a rain of boos in the radio. Fucking stupid. Mara’s not a bad owner. Poor show by us.
I don't see him getting separation. Value on throw up deep balls but for the money they signed him......he is not in Plax's class imv who also was a vg blocker.
can't hold the edge. Again. Philly has the second ranked rushing attack. Got to think they will rely on that given how Hurts has played and that we haven't done anything on offense.

The fans have every reason to boo. The fact that he didn't address the crowd speaks volumes.
Get to see what coaching staff can make good adjustments. Our second year coach, or thier rookie coach. Plus aren't we mad they just us out of tge pplayoffs last year, then jumped us and took te draft target everyone in tge world knew we were picking.

Agreed. Im very disappointed with him. He has been injured a lot and when he is actually on the field his play has been lacking. Announcers are pointing it out every week when he drops a pass or misses a block. He is no Plaxico that is forsure
Lawrence and Carter are getting pushed around in the run game

Define bad owner.
Woody Johnson. Any other questions? Seriously man.
then what are the Giants paying him all that money for ?
He doesnt get separation so his catching those 50/50 balls is what got him paid but he isn't doing that at all this year.
Anyways nice Drive for the TD
That pass play to Kenny G was ugly. I think the ball placement was off bc there usually is not much separation on those fades but the DB may have also been over, which means it should have been a back shoulder throw.
He gets 1 big play a game but his lack of consistency kills the offense on a lot of drives putting them in 2nd and 3rd and long. Much rather have a consistent Rb who gets 4 -5 yards at a time then a RB who gets 30 yards and then 0 for the next 5 touches
Fucking Carter can't hold an edge to save his life
Get a turnover. Call a boom or bust play on first down which killed the drive and momentum while giving up field position. Now the other team capitalizes.
we cant expect our defense to shut teams out because our Offense is the worst in Football. That is a little unfair, I mean what the fuck you want the D to do they have 3 turnovers!
HIs rookie season he would beat four or five tackles on a single play.
Ever since, not so much.
Yeah I think he is a shell of his former self. Has proven to lack durability in the NFL, so much was made of his build yet he’s a China doll. Unfortunately will probably go down as one of the biggest busts in Giants history, what a shame and reason number one why you need a good GM who won’t draft a RB with the #2 pick in the draft.
can someone tell me why we are wearing white today? .... somebody forget to pay the laundry bill?
Throwback uniform today.
Thanks US1 ... didn't realize the Whites were a "Throwback". They always seem to wear whites on the road? But, I guess that may go back decades? Thanks again.

before the ankle, Saquon was great. After he returned (too early imo) he took a couple games to get back to form, but he was a force, but after the tear he has looked awful. No speed or vision. He looks like he's protecting himself from getting hurt again
RE: RE: RE: Has Dexter Lawrence done anything today?
when you sign a contract as a free agent to play for this team, you are basically saying I am coming here for the money. The idea of competing for a championship is no longer a factor. He made that business decision months ago.
His total is like 34 yards on 10 carries. I know it's in part due to injuries so I have to take that into account but he's a top 10 bust in NFL history.
when you sign a contract as a free agent to play for this team, you are basically saying I am coming here for the money. The idea of competing for a championship is no longer a factor. He made that business decision months ago.
wtf our your talking about, that was a horrible pass
And at this point I see nothing different offensively.
We suck!
Did you expect a new offense to be installed in 4 days? They are running the same offense with the exception being when we run certain plays... that is all.
biggest problem on this team by far is the OL. That doesn't excuse Barkley, Jones, or our lack of pass rush or ability to hold the edge. But we simply cannot block, and still have problems with stunts that high school OLs would pick up. Teams know this and are getting pressure with just four defenders, while dropping everyone else into some type of coverage.
DG said he'd fix the OL. Four years later it is even worse than when he arrived. He should be gone.
I got to be kidding! Three man rush and he’s flushed out of the pocket. As Bob Papa said right before the game. “No blocking, it doesn’t matter who calls the plays”
And at this point I see nothing different offensively.
We suck!
Did you expect a new offense to be installed in 4 days? They are running the same offense with the exception being when we run certain plays... that is all.
What about the play calling. Wasn't that also a big negative for Garrett?

He belongs on the halftime show panel right next to Reggie bush not starting for the Giants
One of the worst QB's the Giants ever had. The players don't even show up on GameDay, loads of so called injuries. This fucking shitshow has been sold to the fucking fans long enough. It's time to say goodbye. They don't deserve any support. It's all garbage and even people like Pat Traina celebrating Garrett's firing like that is going to make any difference is sickening.

yes but play design to me was a bigger problem than the calls themselves. These plays are not effective in general no matter when you call them.
when you hear the whistle blow, their OL is always a min of a yard over the LOS...
When our back is handed the ball their DL is just a wall on the LOS waiting to make the tackle...
There is just no penetration for our backs to exploit, and most times Solder releases their players into the backfield anyway
but, Schlerth makes me sick. Why does he call the Giants game when everyone knows he hates them?
I guess I should take comfort in the fact that when the Giants starts winning 10-12 games (per season) again - we won't have to deal with this ass anymore. Seems like he gets the "scraps" games?
Barkley is a shell of himself and actively hurts the offense, Golloday looks like he doesn't give a shit, Slayton has completely regressed, and Engram is Engram .
I thought the skill positions were fixed in the offseason but boy was i wrong . Yeah the OL sucks and that is the main problem but the skill positions are a huge issue
good news is that there isn't enough time for the Eagles simply to move down the field by running the ball. Hurts will have to throw. Of course, he could easily hit a few passes.
What a clueless statement. Weongvread, Slayton was more open. Great coverage. Nice pass. Holy shit. Unreal take from that play. That is exactly why you have a fanbase defending this QB. He has had protecting today, his defense is playing very good. Yet we may lose this fame because he stinks.
FG is clearly the correct call on 4th and 7 at this field position. Come on now. You absolutely have to force this lousy Eagles offense to score a TD to win
good news is that there isn't enough time for the Eagles simply to move down the field by running the ball. Hurts will have to throw. Of course, he could easily hit a few passes.
A lot of you are down on Barkley but he is basically hit as soon as he gets the ball. The fact that solder is still playing is on this coaching staff. His guys is always the one making the play or rushing the passer
I’d leave Robinson off that list. Two passes on that drive went off the receivers hands at the goal line. On both he was on his way to the ground. He affected the receiver on the first, but was simply lucky on the second.

Question: Is he showing bad mechanics there?
*Crossing his feet on the dropback
*Patting the ball before throw
*Holding the ball low (instead of high, at his ear) so as not to have it stripped, and get rid of it quicker?
We will be running a LOT of RPO or run from the gun as we aren't getting much blocking from the TE's today.

one bad play call
bad OL play as usual

+1.
Need to get yards on first down.
yeah so far it has been all about the play design calling for short plays
The OL got their usual push
at this point, starting Barkley is a poor decision.
he wanted no part in it
When you see the overhead replay on a lot of these plays... there really is nobody open.
If it waa that crew from the LV/DAL game
serious?
Golladay had his arm wrapped around slay. It was a good no call
Got to have a little air so Golladay can leap up not through the DB.
Not a bad ball but it was better coverage.
That is excusing Golladay for a shitty effort...
I know you hate Jones but please at least be fair. The WR was interfered with on the play.
The only receivers on this team that get open are Toney and Shepard and they are always injured.

LFG Barkely! Get some!
Aside from being practically a rookie ; thrown into the mix when they jettison a mvp qb who is playing great on another team; being a late round selection in qb skinny year ; and coming off a 3 TD game? Yea aside from that ...
PUHLEASSSE get this guy out of there
hes killing us
I am convinced that you simply cannot get the officiating to be any better unless you review a lot more of this after the play with video.
We have the benefit of seeing more angles, replay, etc.
Barkleys vision is putrid. He is not a running back. He should be used like Debo Samuel.

Keep moving those goalposts! BTW - 3rd and 4th rounders are still midround picks, not late.
But whatever. Trolls gonna troll.
P.S. - Mark Schlereth is unbearable
TE misses easy block on 1st down
now a hold
drive is now dead
Hahahaha.
!!!!!!!!
Get down near the red zone but lose yards because of penalties, bad play calling, and poor blocking. Then Jones is under immediate pressure and almost throws an INT that bounces of Engram's hands.
what part of the eagle defender unblocked behind the line of scrimmage did you miss? how could you even shit talk barkley there

Jones looks fine. I mean...comparatively
really......can you explain that comment?
The Giants are not scoring but the offense is alive not dead like Garrett had it
Garrett was part of the problem, but there are also a lot of other reasons why the offense is completely dysfunctional.
dont be stupid
Was Garrett doing anything well to deserve keeping his job ?
He literally wrapped his arms around him. That is not allowed.
No good man.
Hope not, need high draft picks
I get high school and NFL rules mixed up because I’m more involved with the former than I am the latter.

No, but if we let go everyone who wasn’t doing their job we’s also have an interim coach, an interim GM, a new QB, new RB, and 4 new linemen.
I've defended him for awhile...but he comes up small too much. He should be a rock out there...

He was the easiest to let go in middle of the season. You cant really replace anyone else in middle of the season but you can replace an OC and install new schemes

They started their drive inside the 5. I'm not giving Graham a rose for that defensive stand.
Our OL was predictably awful. Solder and Price in particular. We can't block anybody.
Barkley had one run and that was it.
Gano missed a FG that never should have been attempted.
On defense, not much pass rush.
I'm struggling to think of anyone who really stood out well in the first half.

I'd debate that. A lot more pre-snap motion and more deep drops. They're looking to drive the ball downfield more but Philly likely counted on that. They just can't block. That's not gonna change regardless of who's calling the plays.

That pass play to Kenny G was ugly. I think the ball placement was off bc there usually is not much separation on those fades but the DB may have also been over, which means it should have been a back shoulder throw.

Our OL is sad.
1 yard gain on first down. Zero fucking push.
Did our Oline miss the wide open receiver?
No that was on jones but this OL constantly keeps us in long distance. Theybget no push

And at this point I see nothing different offensively.
We suck!
Did you expect a new offense to be installed in 4 days? They are running the same offense with the exception being when we run certain plays... that is all.
What about the play calling. Wasn't that also a big negative for Garrett?

right there
when you sign a contract as a free agent to play for this team, you are basically saying I am coming here for the money. The idea of competing for a championship is no longer a factor. He made that business decision months ago.
wtf our your talking about, that was a horrible pass
No.. what the fuck are YOU talking about? I was responding to his comment about "business decisions". My comment had nothing to do with that play.

Is he hurt? Get blocked out so easy
Lawrence is just another in a long line of busted first round draft picks.
He’s not a bust.
He has 34 combined tackles this year.
3 tackles, or assists, per game.
Thats a busted first round pick.
He did well in ‘19 and ‘20.
In 2020 he had 54 tackles.
Again, about 3 tackles per game.
And 8 sacks over 2 1/2 seasons.
He blows.
He belongs on the halftime show panel right next to Reggie bush not starting for the Giants
We hired O’Brien from Detroit who Judge worked with for years. It’s all DG though.
Just keep running it

yes but play design to me was a bigger problem than the calls themselves. These plays are not effective in general no matter when you call them.
Open it up. .

Oh so that is it now? Why did it work well in Dallas?
Bingo. Judge makes his case exposing both he Jones.
When our back is handed the ball their DL is just a wall on the LOS waiting to make the tackle...
There is just no penetration for our backs to exploit, and most times Solder releases their players into the backfield anyway
I guess I should take comfort in the fact that when the Giants starts winning 10-12 games (per season) again - we won't have to deal with this ass anymore. Seems like he gets the "scraps" games?
Exactly...this Oline is unbelievably bad.
Baker Mayfield called him an idiot.
Barkley is a shell of himself and actively hurts the offense, Golloday looks like he doesn't give a shit, Slayton has completely regressed, and Engram is Engram .
I thought the skill positions were fixed in the offseason but boy was i wrong . Yeah the OL sucks and that is the main problem but the skill positions are a huge issue
take a guess
your comment is false...

fg does nothing
your comment is false...
yes let's play for a tie.
An elite QB would have still threw a TD there.
Nice drive going, and you sit here wondering what they’re going to do to screw it up

3rdband 2 is a HUGE difference there

Maybe not a TD, but def a first down
Slayton was open a second later

And it would of been so grand that the refs would of picked up the flag as a tribute to the awesomeness of the play.
everyone beyond the sticks was covered

I agree. Jones gets so rattled.

The ball was out so Slayton’s DB disengaged
I was just thinking the same thing but, do me a favor - shut up.
; )
Wrong guy. 86 had separation on the same timing pass. Look at the play

I wouldn’t assume that.

Jones never gets to a second read. Locks onto the first read

+1
would not be disappointed if they took 2 OL in the first round - if the talent is there.
it's like clockwork.
Now you can enjoy the yard work,
Suck it birds! Suck my Big Blue hog mollie!
I'd say that was a great play be Lawrence but I've been told he's a bust.
how does that dildo shaped football feel up your ass right now?
Yin Yang
First time I heard his name in a month
I swear it looks like he’s not trying.
There is legit zero room to run ol sucks. No push
The game ain't over.
I swear it looks like he’s not trying.
There were 9 in the box
I swear it looks like he’s not trying.
Yiu should watch the all 22 on that play. Im sure you will see a wet flapping bag of shit OL trying to open a hole but nothing doin.
Ol stinks
It’s uttterly putrid..so embarrassing and perplexing..
Our offensive line

So sweet to beat the Eagles.
The game ain't over.
It should be over. You are right though. I have seen too many Eagles miracles over the Giants in the last minute.
Let's not be to sure about that. This is a team game, offense and defense should feed off each other. But not this team, not this QB.
The commercial was better anyways
Can't make it up.
That is on Judge and he should be held responsible for that
Giants had 3 to burn
Exposing who we really are
Absolutely dogshit.
Never thought I'd see that before in my life. A coach milking a stopped clock?
There was another game this year that we lost because we dropped a TD in the end zone
Only 13 points
Quote:
How do you not catch that?

correction an INT, not TD
That's how bad our offensive is, as usual.
we are not getting the ball back
(including missed field goal)
it was more who sucked more
not sure outside of mckinney if anyone looked good for the giants.
Our WRs weren't exactly lighting the world on fire
Good win. OL still sucks. April we need to pour nore resources into the OL
Hurts sucks as a passer he wouldnt have broken 100 yards if it wasnt for 2 rb dump offs on last drive.
Mckinney is real deal. He makes plays.
First 2 game streak over Eagles since 2007-2008 season.

I’d leave Robinson off that list. Two passes on that drive went off the receivers hands at the goal line. On both he was on his way to the ground. He affected the receiver on the first, but was simply lucky on the second.
In case you can't tell I'm begging.
Parcells said more games in this league are lost than won.
This was definitely one.
Nice game by the D for Strahan’s ceremony at least.
In case you can't tell I'm begging.
It's absurd how much we're paying him to suck.
Funny how this works.
Funny how this works.
I dont know why they went away from the run. They were stuffing it I'd down their throats running it, then decides to pass.
