I mean they are running the ball 70% of the time, and as we all saw today Hurts seem to be all over the place with his passes.
I didn't necessarily want Smith, thought he was too slight of frame, but he's not been injured yet and would probably do very well with a different QB.

I didn't want Smith either for the same reasons. But he could do well on a better team. What I'm really interested in seeing is Olave in the NFL. I think he's a better version of Smith.
not bad for a rookie but probably not what people were expecting. I haven't seen much of the Eagles but he doesn't seem like he has established himself as the go to guy.
From a mtach standpoint, I didn't see him as a good fit with Hurts. Smith's greatest asset is exceptional route running if you can get him off the press. Hurts is not a precision passer.
a #1 stud WR. And yeah, hurts isn’t a pocket passer but his mobility allows Smith and the rest of the WRs to get open.
And their running game has teams putting in 7 or 8 guys in box so Smith is getting a lot of one on one opportunities with little safety help, so for what the running game takes away in total opportunities it does give him more quality opportunities. He is going to be a nice receiver in the league. Not sure he is going to be an elite receiver.
be a tallest midget contest, but Smith would be the Giants leader in catches, yards (almost double the next closest NY Giant pass catcher), and TD's (double the Giants closest person) with his seasonal numbers

Exactly. That guy is a beast.
Stan up to his usual trolling. He has no idea what he is talking about.

Oh, he was wide open all game. Idiot QB simply refused to throw to him.

But don’t anyone dare suggest lack of talent up front has anything to do with Jones and Saquons struggles
Bottom line, of Smith, Parsons and Toney we got the worst of the three - by far - and it wasn’t because of circumstance. It was our own ineptitude.
pfft. I'll take Toney and the high 1st and 4th in the upcoming draft.

This. The stupid narrative they LBs can't be taken High or in RD 1 gets disproved over and over.
Hide the women and the children.
Their TE and Smith.
Even the Giants recognized it last week and shut down those two.
Godert was singled up and let to roam free, and caught two big passes for TDs (one slightly underthrown, one def underthrown).
What were the Jets thinking?
