Chris Myarick Love thread

I can only talk about two plays, but both plays were huge. Of course we all saw the TD he caught with his legs. Admittedly he should have caught that much easier seeing that the ball hit him in the gut, but to have the presence of mind to get his hand under the ball was pretty impressive.

The second one wasn’t as spectacular, but at the time, very impressive too. The play started with him helping Solder on a block, and he fell down in doing that…..but while Dimes was rolling right, he was able to get back up and go out far enough to catch a pass for a huge first down. This happened in the 4th quarter when we moved from our 8 all the way down to I believe around their 20 killing about 8 minutes or so. Gano kicked a huge FG to help us win.

Anyhow, this kid plays hard, seems to have a non stop motor and I think has very good hands. I’m not sure how his blocking is though.

Watch this catch he made in a preseason game while with Miami.
Myarick shines - ( New Window )
Both plays were crucial

but more important it looked like he left it all out there--which means a lot more IMO.
He got lucky with the drop that turned into the knee catch TD, but the

other play you described was big league clutch. He earned more looks.
i thought the second catch was a good play by both myarick and jones

myarick got up and found open space. jones found myarick and threw across his body to get him the ball. this is the type of play a good QB makes.
The whiff on Barnett

on the Slayton end around was ugly though. Inconsequential, ultimately, but he didnt even lay a finger on him, which blew up the play.
I love he made the most of his opportunities

Good for him. We don't win without his catches.
