I’ve read over and over that Dorsey was a part time executive and that the company needed a full time person (duh). So, he leaves the company and the drops almost 3% while the market went up big time today. Can anyone explain why it dropped like this?
but seriously, I do know quite a few people absolutely loading up on twitter right now, they have it as one of their best buys.
I am not as bullish, but people love it at this price.
Spaces is a great feature - basically eliminates the need for talk radio if you think about it. There was one that was all giants fans the other day after Garrett was fired. was a commercial free 3 hour rant from fans all over the place. was great
That's complicated with Dorsey since he was in and out.
Yeah, he has attacked the concept of free speech as antiquated. He seems to be one of those who thinks of himself as a truth teller.

Beginning today, we will not allow the sharing of private media, such as images or videos of private individuals without their consent. Publishing people's private info is also prohibited under the policy, as is threatening or incentivizing others to do so.
That said, I would rate twitter as a buy. Dorsey was an odd CEO because he was almost aggressively not trying to squeeze value out of the service for shareholders. I feel like there's a CEO for this company that will be much better at monetizing the service. Maybe this new guy is the one.

Why is this targeted and whom is it targeting?

This is just a step in a program started months ago. It didn’t happen overnight.

under new CEO. I don't want to lead this thread in unintended places, but this is targeted IMO (the video part).

media IMO, some parts of the media.
If it goes below 40, buy. I would even buy now, just not a ton.

Social media complicates a simple distinction between public and private entities. That's the whole problem. "Abuse" gets defined in terms that are implicitly political.
