6. New York Giants — Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah The Giants saw first-hand what a versatile linebacker with explosive traits can do for your defense when they met the division-rival Dallas Cowboys with rookie stud Micah Parsons. Lloyd isn’t quite on Parsons’ level, but his blend of instincts and speed helps him impact the game in multiple ways. Linebacker might not be the top need for the Giants, but adding defensive playmakers is never a bad idea. 7. New York Giants (from Chicago) — Tyler Linderbaum, OC, Iowa* Since the merger in 1970 only once has a center been drafted in the top 10 — and that is only if you include Pro Football Hall of Famer Bruce Matthews, who was drafted as an “interior blocker” ninth overall in 1983. But in this class, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Linderbaum this high, especially to a team like the Giants who need to add tough, athletic blockers in the trenches. |
Would love to see him in Blue.
Instant superstar upgrade!
5-7 years of a great left side
If we can get a couple of long-term, high quality players who fill need and value with those picks and we should all be happy. Who they are at this time in the process doesn't matter.
generally the Giants should think about spending those picks on EDGE/OT/QB, and in their case maybe a very high level OG. Otherwise, maybe trading back is in order.
2. Houston Texans — Kayvon Thibodeaux, edge, Oregon*
3. Jacksonville Jaguars — Evan Neal, OT, Alabama*
4. New York Jets (from Seattle) — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU*
5. New York Jets — Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State*

8. Philadelphia Eagles — Kyle Hamilton, DS, Notre Dame*
9. Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami) — George Karlaftis, edge, Purdue*
10. Carolina Panthers — Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

If it went that way, I would do it what the Eagles did there. I’d go with Hamilton and Karlaftis.
I hate picking an OC or ILB that high, and this basically illustrates why slipping out of the top 5 of this draft is not a great outcome imo.
I do like Karliftis.
19. Washington Football Team – Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss*
I do like Karliftis.
I know many are high on Charles Cross of Mississippi State. I don’t know much about him, but many think he’s right behind Neal and Ickey
This ILB is a redshirt senior. Usually the exceptionally talented ones come out early. Could be nothing but let's see how the pre draft goes. LB that high needs to have a big impact and be complete.
OK , maybe, on Lindenbaum,(Gates return is questionable) but we really need a T.
Lloyd: not when we really need an impactful ER.
Surely we look at adding an OL with the other pick, and most likely another one in 2 or 3. Nevertheless, the likely gap up in quality on D from having a real threat on the edge is exciting. The DTs would love it, too.
1. - Kayvon Thibodeau ER
2. - Matt Corral OL
3. - Kyle Hamilton S
4. - Derek Stingley CB
5. - DeMarvin Leal DL
6. - Aidan Hutchinson ER
7. - Matt Corral QB
8. - George Karlaftis ER
9. - Chris Olave WR
10. - Kaiir Elam CB
Has Linderbaum as # 11.
Would love to see him in Blue.

I second that. Devin Lloyd is flat out legit. I’d take him in a heartbeat
You can always come back in the second round and draft either Foskey of Notre Dame or Johnson of FSU at the EDGE position which is very deep this year.
I would have no complaints with Linderbaum at the center position because we have no idea at this time what will happen with Gates unfortunately.
I would come back in the third round and find either a OT or OG which also happens to be a deep position this upcoming draft.
Agree about GK. But I like Johnson from Florida State better than Jackson
What player is someone trading up for? No Justin Fields here, I guess we have to hope someone falls in love with a QB.
Texans and Lions are all but locked in to the first two picks and will almost assuredly be looking QB.
