Dixon ranks last in the league in punting average with a 45.3 avg and in the bottom3 with a net avg of 40.3 Also, his hang time is terrible. He is mediocre at best. Are we looking for a change?

I think Tynes was saying Mara and Gettleman would never take
Barkley off the field, so at least put a real RB with him to share the football....also Booker can BLOCK
But we have never had an issue with poor snap/hold on FG or XP. I think that is what Judge and Giants brass cares more about versus an extra 2-3 net yards per punt. Dixon's net also suffers because in the area just beyond FG range other teams go for it on 4th down and Judge punts. There is not a lot of margin for error so you either get directional punts that grosses and nets 30 yards or you get 40 yard punt that goes into the end zone netting only 20 yards.

the fans are excusing terrible performance. So Dixon would lead the league in punting in Washington where they always go for it. Sure, tell yourself that if it makes you feel better about having the worst punter in the league and one who saves his shanks for crunch time.

Dodge was an easy guy to sacrifice at that moment. It was a total team collapse and one horrible job of coaching on our part.
Terrible player. I remember the guys from Big Blue Banter talking about Dixon this summer and how he was making a lot of money for a punter who had pretty lousy season last year. He gonna be cut. And as usual, about a year too late.
