because everyone seems to love it so. Always make it through a few episodes waiting for the big laughs, but they never seem to arrive. I think its OK, I can watch it for a bit....but not on the level of a Honeymooners, Seinfeld, CYE, Barney Miller, All in the Family, etc, for me.....

I believe they filmed season one on their own budget. For season two, they were basically told to add Danny Devito, as he loved the show, or they were going to be canceled. Might be the best fit of an actor forced on a show ever

I also really like the one where they introduce the snail and Honey and Vinegar realty. Sweet Dee Has a Heart Attack (Charlie in the mailroom). The Gang Goes on Welfare. The Gang Solves the Bathroom Problem.

But I think it has dropped off the last few seasons. One of the things that made it great was they are horrible people unaware of their own issues. In some ways it was like a live version of South Park, with a total lack of political correctness. Now, they characters have evolved beyond that and it's not as funny.

Flowers for Charlie is the best episode. Followed by the Gang gets Held up (or whatever it’s called). Being Frank is another gem.
