At zero touchdowns the BBI excuse accountants will adjust it to 4. 2 TDs for the OL, 1 for the neck and 1 TD for generic lingering Jason Garrett excuse. Some possibilities:
1. Jason Garrett made him learn a bad playbook
2. He has to "adjust" to Kitchens playbook
3. Him and Jason Garrett spent so many hours together working hard on his game that it's tough to deal with the emotional loss
4. Jason Garrett made him think too conservatively, he has to learn to open up his game again
Just like our shoulda wins, DJ leads the league in coulda TDs!

how he could get hurt early in the game on Sunday, play the whole game without apparent restriction, then two days later we're talking about him missing not just the following next game, but others beyond that.
He's playing for $90M. You would try to be out there too.
You won’t even give the kid kudos for being a tough competitor. You know when you are 100 % of the time on one side of an issue, never being able to see anything positive, you kind of lose credibility.

not true. I praised him when he played a great game against New Orleans. I said it was an exciting performance. I even started a thread about his PFF score that week.
And I'm not seeing what's bothering you about the straight fact that he is playing for a life-altering, heck a family-altering, contract. A contract that will set up Jones' for generations. Why can't that be mentioned?
The dude is playing to get a $90M contract. Fuck yea he's going to try to be out there. These last 6 games may be the last chance he has to prove he deserves that kind of money, for the rest of his career. Why can't this be said?
Once again the truth is not welcome around here. The truth is a casualty. People's feelings are too fucking fragile for the truth.

It's professional football. I'm not particularly anti-jones, but its a sport full of tough people. I dont enjoy that we throw roses at any one guy for being tough. Linemen are tough. Anyone care that Billy Price is tough enough to fight another 300 pound man for 4 quarters?
RE: He's coming out on the floor - For all us old timers
anyone thinking that maybe the severity of his injury was overblown?
ya think? another crack job by the beat writers
Got a family member entering month 4 of ‘ a minor’ neck injury, should be better in 2 weeks. You just don’t know the extent until there’s a sign of progress.
Maybe extensive therapy and some muscle relaxers got it manageable.
Or the ready for Sunday is a deflection.

And none of this guys are playing for franchise QB booty. Daniel Jones has a lotto jackpot in his sights.
RE: RE: He's coming out on the floor - For all us old timers
I remember that moment like it was yesterday! Still get goosebumps.
IIRC, he hit a jumper, got a rebound or two and then left the game.
Anyone else remember?
Amazingly he hit his first 2 jumpshots. The crowd was going nuts and the Lakers were mentally psyched out. Thats all he scored, those 4 pts, but his presence on the court changed the game completely (even though he played only 27 minutes).
I read a quote from one of the Lakers, I forget who, who said years later than when Reed limped out of the locker room all the Lakers just stopped and watched, and the crowd went crazy. he said he thought the Lakers lost the game right there. They just never got it in. Remember they crushed the Knicks in game 6 without Reed. Chamberlain went wild.
I remember last year when the Giants improved to 4-7 in a game Jones was injured. McCoy does just enough, and the Giants run all over Seattle the next week.
The next week, instead of giving Jones another week to heal up, he goes out and gets his ass royally kicked by AZ.
The kicker, in the offseason Judge goes on about how tough Jones is, and how he should have been on IR. That always kind of felt ridiculous to brag about.
I hope Judge learned something.
I really hope the Doctors checked his neck to make sure it
We can root for his failure on Sunday. But if he doesn’t play I will content myself with shitting on him for being injury prone. So many roads to ease my soul…

Lol we have a winner
As someone said on the Fromm thread, once. Giant always. Giant. I’m sure she literally has generational talent.

Has got it going on
Glennon better be ready to go...

He can't be evaluated without a neck.
You won!

moral touchdowns are important, NGD
I feel bad for Patrick Graham's neck. His brain has to be swelling trying to figure out how to do this week-in week-out.
Toughness means nothing unless we score TDs.
I'm at the point with Jones where I couldn't care less about how tough he supposedly is...

It's always comforting to know, no matter how many games we lose, it's with a bunch of stand up guys. Who needs wins when you have that?
This.
Also, Victor is a sucker for state media propaganda.

I was 5 years old. I have a vague recollection. But my dad talked about it for decades.
Wait. I thought you would ever offer any sort of football knowledge.
I guess we were both wrong!
My guess is he plays.
