Rooting for the Jets and Lions and Giants to win... the worst 3 franchises in the last 5 years. I'll save my parlay money.

I would rather listen to Skip Bayless on Friday than watch the Cowboys win.
It never gets old.

Agreed. This is what it has come to, relying on the Lions to win games. Good luck with that.
The Lions could beat Minnesota as they are missing Cook, have had some serious issues with Griffin and always seem on the brink of collapse.
The Jets is harder to see but they have beaten the Titans this year so again, you never know.

And now his son coaches UCONN. Maybe next year someone will ask him about the playoffs 😂

Asked OL coach Rob Sale why Nate Solder is starting at RT over Matt Peart. His response: “Plain and simple, you watch every play when Andrew was out, body of work, Nate’s the better player right now.”

Not an answer we want to hear but at least its a straight answer. Better than blah blah blah, swing tackle, blah blah blah.
My sentiments exactly. We all just need to except the fact that Peart is depth at the most if that. I mean you cannot beat out one of the worst tackles in football, not sure what to say. Need another top ten tackle in the 2022 draft and be done with it.

#Giants ST coordinator Thomas McGaughey on P Riley Dixon’s struggles at the end of games: “He’s had some issues there. We’re working to clean it up. He’ll be fine.”

@ZackBlatt
Patrick Graham said the #Giants are forcing a lot of turnovers because they make a concerted effort to add players that are good at forcing them: “We’re looking for guys who are ball hawks.”

Freddie Kitchens seems to think Daniel Jones will be playing this week: “I fully expect it to be like regular old times.” #Giants

Freddie Kitchens on believing in giving Daniel Jones freedom & say-so in the offense: “It’s been our belief as a staff that our quarterback needs to drive this thing.” #Giants

@JordanRaanan
Freddie Kitchens says this current collaborative setup “isn’t uniquely different” than any other place he’s been with a staff-oriented approach.
Kitchens is stressing “constant communication” with his players as well. Wants a sense and feel to what they’re comfortable with.

@TomRock_Newsday
The offensive coaches have been asking the players for input on what they are most comfortable and uncomfortable running. Freddie sez: "Why would you call something if the player is not comfortable running it?" He says that communication with players is "a never-ending process"

Asked what Peart needs to show, Sale said, “More physical.” He left it at that. Later he added it’s a violent game. “Go out there and put your hands around somebody’s neck and freaking choke ‘em. Plain and simple.”

Giants QB coach Jerry Schuplinski on Freddie Kitchens as a play-caller: “He’s certainly not afraid to take some opportunities, and I think he’s got a little bit of a ‘Wing it’ mentality at times — which is a good thing.”

Other injury updates: WR Kadarius Toney (quad/oblique) didn’t even stretch with the team and worked on the side with a trainer. Not looking good for this week. WR Sterling Shepard (quad) and TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) did some drills then went to the side with trainers.

FB Cullen Gillaspia (calf) was also on the side. CB Adoree’ Jackson (quad) wasn’t on the side, but I didn’t see him do any drills. WR John Ross (illness), TE Kaden Smith (knee) and LB Trent Harris (ankle) not spotted again.

Just an FYI, Mike Garafolo, on GMF today said he doesn't think Jones will play and the people he has talked to feel the same way. This is more gamesmanship than actual he has a chance to play and it would be more likely he could play against LAC than the Dolphins.
This is a neck thing, they will be very careful with it.
That is why teams must go BPA all the way through the draft and use mid tier FAs to fill in needs. DG also tried to trade up for Lorenzo Carter, just as Reese tried to do for Andre Williams.
The irony is that DG traded away B.J. Hill, a decent third round pick, for Billy Price.
If Peart can't beat out Solder in his second year then that is on DG for drafting him. Remember that Peart was taken with the compensatory third we got because Collins left in FA. We also hadn't picked since the top of the second round that year because our third went to the Jets in the Williams trade.

Giants Injury Report 12/2
LIMITED:
QB Daniel Jones (Neck)
TE Kyle Rudolph (Ankle)
WR Sterling Shepard (Quad)
DNP:
LB Trent Harris (Ankle)
FB Cullen Gillaspia (Calf)
DB Adoree Jackson (Quad)
WR John Ross (Illness)
TE Kaden Smith (Knee)
WR Kadarius Toney (Oblique/Quad)
Efficient conversion on hot reads from the original play call will be incumbent on the Offense if the Jints are to be successful
Slot receivers and TE's play an important role with hot reads
Those are the guys who will need to inhabit the space left behind by the blitzers.
Eli was lethal in those blitz situations. Can Jones or whomever is the qb take advantage?
That remains to be seen but the odds improve if Shep and Rudolph play imo.
