DJ has very bad cadence/rhythm in making the defense flinch. Everything is so easy to time including the actual snap. This actually makes run/pass blocking even more difficult and impacts those plays
…DJs cadence/hard count but if he is consistently doing anything, he should be able to draw a couple of these.
One thing that I like is to teach the C to flex his hand on a hard count, just a quick squeeze at the hard sound. Many of the DL are so coiled up and so coached up to watch the ball, that they’re an easy mark for this technique.
