The lack of respect for ND is amazing. I get people hate them, but they are a really, really good team.
Michigan beat Ohio State on the score board and physically. IF ND did that to a highly ranked team they would have more respect. Just the way it goes sometimes. You play whose on your schedule.

I think even more amazing is the amount of random Michigan fans on a N.Y. teams message board. It’s the weirdest thing. I’ve come to expect ND fans to be everywhere. I run into them constantly on the road in completely random places. Just like freakin Cowboys fans. But Michigan? I don’t think I’ve ever come across a Michigan fan anywhere other than Michigan, unless they are an alum. But somehow on BBI there are tons of Michigan fans. Most of which couldn’t find the state if I put them within 5 miles. It’s just strange.

I suspect most of the Michigan fans on BBI are alums or have family connections to the school.
Thanks! Looking forward to it. Hoping Michigan airs it out tonight to make L Iowa play from behind. Basically the opposite game plan as the Ohio State game b/c Iowa’s offense is plodding
As someone who truly doesn’t have any real dog in these fights (other than for betting purposes), I’m just gonna give my honest opinion that I do not think Iowa stands even a slight chance of beating UM.
apparently at 85 years old texted Harbaugh last weekend re: Mich against Ohio st and he said that was as good of a display of o-line play as he’s ever seen in his life. Think about that.
I could be wrong (upsets happen all the time), but — My prediction Is one of 2 things will happen:
1) Iowa’s offense will do nothing, but their defense will make enough big stops and big plays at the right moments to manage to keep the game within 10 points for the first 3 quarters. But the defense will have been on the field all game dead tired so that by the 4th quarter that Michigan rushing attack just becomes too much and they eventually pull away with a couple TDs (either break a big long run OR seal it with a long time consuming drive running the ball over and over), Michigan wins by like 20
Or…
2) Iowa’s offense will do nothing, and the Michigan offense will just be overpowering from the outset and they win by like 40.

There doesn't seem to be any "football reason" for UM to lose, but college kids are certainly prone to letdowns after such a huge win against Ohio St.

I think it’s only possible if Michigan turns the ball over, and McNamara has done a good job of protecting the ball.

Desmond Ridder continues to grow on me as a QB prospect...
Yes.
