Bill Evans at the Village Vanguard 1961 and Kenny Barron.
I also recently came across an early Miles record from 1954 called Bag’s Groove with Sonny Rollins, Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Percy Heath and Kenny Clark. And another early one I found is The Quintet live from Massey Hall in 1953 - Dizzy, Bird, Mingus, Bud Powell and Max Roach.
And a more current find for me is the trumpet player and composer Tom Harrell, who I saw at the Vanguard a few years back. He is always playing with different lineups in different styles. Not easy but interesting.
Grew to like Miles Davis, particularly Kind of Blue, as well as earlier jazz artists like Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. Never seriously got into bebop or fusion however.
I will be forever grateful to you for Tenorio Jr. I have never heard of other one you just posted, but I will check it out. Recently, I have been listening to a lot of Clifford Brown. Also, a couple of incredible albums my Russel Malone - Live at Jazz Standard volumnes 1 and 2.
but I really have been digging the new BadBadNotGood. Also, it's more jazz musicians making jazz adjacent music, but the new Robohands record is incredible. The song leaves is beautiful
Also seem to be listening to a lot of Mingus lately. Things go in cycles.
