And Barrett...I know he has potential and he's a good player, but his ceiling is always going to be capped based on his so-so athleticism and his shooting. He's just not a natural shooter.

My first offer would be Rj, Randle, Grimes and Kemba and multiple 1sts and swaps..

Lillard, Fournier, Burks, Toppin, Mitch as your starters then go out and recruit a 2nd star..

But they would like you said insist on Toppin instead of Randle

I know it came up that Brogdon can’t be traded this year after signing one…I don’t have the expertise on all those caveats.

There has always been a anti N.Y. bias in the media. If this same group were the New Orleans Pelicans, OKC or basically any other team I have no doubt that the same guys would suddenly be able to find plenty of potential trade chips on this roster.

He just doesn’t want to piss off the front office by benching their most expensive new signing. He wanted Bullock back as a starter, and doesn’t play Fournier consistently as a fourth quarter closer. I sense a little friction between those two.

I think he could take Burks out and start Quick and i think Burks would be fine..

I dont know how Fournier reacts to coming off the bench, i think he did it for Boston last uear but i think benching him now, makes it seem like you are blaming him..

In reality i think its Randle and Rj who are killing them right now they are not playing naywhere near where they played last year..

In the offseason is harden the only big free agent available? I don’t want him. This team is t winning anything this year we al know that. I would mind Randle getting a major tweak and miss 7-10 games to see what team looks like without him.

Are there any contenders out there that Randle would be a fit and could send back young talent and picks? I know they won’t trade randlenil. Just curious. Would you do Randle and and Mitch for wiggins, wiseman, moody, kuminga and a 1st rounder?

Nobody on this site wanted the guy. Been playing some terrific basketball lately. Bringing Kemba back home was a great story but the objective is to win basketball games.

Signing Fournier was just an awful move. I said it when it happened and I’ll say it all year
He’s a streaky shooter that is a bench player. He’s awful on defense a screws up the rotational defense that they had last year

Walker signing wasn’t as bad cause it was two years and a small amount of money
He’s a good guy with veteran leadership but also doesn’t play the defense that Thibs requires and is an injury waiting to happen

Starting these two screwed up the beginning of the season and now the after affects are occurring

Thibs will fix it and theses are two strikes against Leon Bad signings

fwiw, and it's not much since I'm not a big NBA fan, but I did buy into a healthy dose of watching vs Bulls, longest in years and years: pretty shocking how Randle at the elbow decided, again and again, that he was going to take it down low into the paint, already packed, and when he got there and was double- and triple-teamed, he had no clue what to do next, and the predictable results were: tied up; losing the ball; or getting off a wild, very low % shot. His last turnover there was critical late in fourth.
