And I'm really done with Randle. I can't stand the iso shit and he disappoints more than he impresses. He's a ball hog who always and I mean ALWAYS complains to the refs.
And Barrett...I know he has potential and he's a good player, but his ceiling is always going to be capped based on his so-so athleticism and his shooting. He's just not a natural shooter.
RE: Randle didn’t cause the 23-3 run because he turned the ball over
but it would take probably two of RJ/IQ/Obi and several first rounders, if the Harden trade is a measuring stick. Unless we get a third team involved. I think the Knicks would do it though.
which may be a dealbreaker for Portland - they can no longer dump him into cap space here, so will they want Noel/Fournier on the books for next year? Doubt it.

I dont want to give up IQ at all, I would hesitate to give up Toppin...
My first offer would be Rj, Randle, Grimes and Kemba and multiple 1sts and swaps..
Lillard, Fournier, Burks, Toppin, Mitch as your starters then go out and recruit a 2nd star..
But they would like you said insist on Toppin instead of Randle
Does that contract extension rule apply to Randle, too?
if Dame finally says enough is enough. Very similar to the Russell Wilson discussion with the Giants.
what are you offering to the blazers?
According to Jalen Rose and Wilbon Knicks have zero assets
There has always been a anti N.Y. bias in the media. If this same group were the New Orleans Pelicans, OKC or basically any other team I have no doubt that the same guys would suddenly be able to find plenty of potential trade chips on this roster.
RE: Does that contract extension rule apply to Randle, too?
He just doesn’t want to piss off the front office by benching their most expensive new signing. He wanted Bullock back as a starter, and doesn’t play Fournier consistently as a fourth quarter closer. I sense a little friction between those two.
I think he could take Burks out and start Quick and i think Burks would be fine..
I dont know how Fournier reacts to coming off the bench, i think he did it for Boston last uear but i think benching him now, makes it seem like you are blaming him..
In reality i think its Randle and Rj who are killing them right now they are not playing naywhere near where they played last year..
In the offseason is harden the only big free agent available? I don’t want him. This team is t winning anything this year we al know that. I would mind Randle getting a major tweak and miss 7-10 games to see what team looks like without him.
Are there any contenders out there that Randle would be a fit and could send back young talent and picks? I know they won’t trade randlenil. Just curious. Would you do Randle and and Mitch for wiggins, wiseman, moody, kuminga and a 1st rounder?
RE: RE: On another note, Luka Samanac and Deuce McBride are lighting
since two of our kids and all five grandkids live in Westchester I thought about going to a game - but they're playing home games in Bridgeport CT - WTF?
Del, I believe the Knicks are allowing Westchester to be used as a COVID vaccination center, so they relocated the G-League games.
Nobody on this site wanted the guy. Been playing some terrific basketball lately. Bringing Kemba back home was a great story but the objective is to win basketball games.
Signing Fournier was just an awful move. I said it when it happened and I’ll say it all year
He’s a streaky shooter that is a bench player. He’s awful on defense a screws up the rotational defense that they had last year
Walker signing wasn’t as bad cause it was two years and a small amount of money
He’s a good guy with veteran leadership but also doesn’t play the defense that Thibs requires and is an injury waiting to happen
Starting these two screwed up the beginning of the season and now the after affects are occurring
Thibs will fix it and theses are two strikes against Leon Bad signings
He’s a ball stopper who shoots bad shots and complains to the refs and doesn’t get back on defense Reminds me of Melo when he got here
fwiw, and it's not much since I'm not a big NBA fan, but I did buy into a healthy dose of watching vs Bulls, longest in years and years: pretty shocking how Randle at the elbow decided, again and again, that he was going to take it down low into the paint, already packed, and when he got there and was double- and triple-teamed, he had no clue what to do next, and the predictable results were: tied up; losing the ball; or getting off a wild, very low % shot. His last turnover there was critical late in fourth.
And Barrett...I know he has potential and he's a good player, but his ceiling is always going to be capped based on his so-so athleticism and his shooting. He's just not a natural shooter.
It killed all momentum, he had Burks wide open who had just hit a 3..
No he didnt cause thr next 23 points, but its just stupid shit like that , that is a perfect example of him not having the ball in his hands..
Its just awful, team has no heart..
2. Jokic is the second best player in the league. He's so good.
3. Thibs left the starters in way too long.
4. Why did Fournier play almost the entire quarter? He's a 0 on defense and not worth much when his shot isn't working.
I don't see how this really follows. Kemba was a sieve on defense. Although if the team is going to play like this, might as well give him a shot....

for benching Kemba, even though he was really bad and hurting them...

Not arguing that but Kemba is really well likrd around the NbA and inside that lockerroom...
they are 1-7 in their last 8
Exactly. Get younger and free some cap space.
I want to see what Samanic has!
It is just baffiling
Not this bad
Bench can be vets Rose, Burks, Fournier..Bring up Luca he can spread the floor
Question is does he want to come to NY because its NY or does he want to come here to play with Randle?

I dint bekieve so, its something with the 2 year extension
Waiting to trade Lillard is stupid to me, you went as far as you are going to go and you can probably get the most for him right now..
Even if they let all of their free agents walk they are still over the cap, they need a serious cap cleaning..
Im sure they will first look to trade mccollum, but what does that do? it jist makes you worse..
