Missed 2.
Injured at least 4. NO, ATL, TB, KC
Ejected 1. DAL
I also think there were games when he was just not on the field at the end due to coach's decisions.
I've never seen anything like it really.
I think he's only finished like 3 games this season so far and we're coming up on game number 12 which he is doubtful for....
To me his whole season so far is one play against the Saints and 1 dominant game against the Cowboys and he ended both of those games out anyway.
What is a realistic future for this guy?
Will these injuries plague his career? Will the lack of a passing game ruin his career? Maybe or maybe not.

I think that's the point being made, he is NEVER on the field
If we had WR's who were doing well, Toney would have been healing and not playing.
Toney lookED like a Star in the making until he hurt his foot/ankle.

I don’t understand what you guys are talking about. Never? The kid is our leading receiver in yardage right now, despite the injuries. There’s potential, he’s something you should be excited about.
Parson's was high risk. doesn't matter how it turns out, what matters it the criteria at the time of the draft.
A qualifier: all NFL players are high risk, Parsons with his off=field issues was more hi risk than most.
Instead we got Toney and a top ten (at least) pick next year. If Parons fulfills his potential, it's likely a good draft decision. If Parson's eventually self-destructs it's a monumentally goodf choice.
But by all means fill the fool's corner with the continuing mononotous, whimpering, agenda driven comments. And they'll walk away convinced that an hour on the coach per week makes them smarter than the full timers with support teams and unlimited data bases.
aND THat's what this place is really about and that is even the basis - at least partially - for the popularity of the sport. Empowerment through hindsight...

Potential is nice. The Giants "potentially" had a very good offense, but nobody can stay healthy.
Toney being the leading receiver doesnt say much with this cast of Giants.
I like Toney as a player, just needs to be in games

That was tough man. Tough read.
He really has the pulse of the team though with his "deep playoff run" predictions...
They should trade him in the offseason. For a lot of reasons. Get ahead of this now.
I know JonC & others have been expressing regrets over not picking Parsons but the Giants had a line in to PSU and took him off their draft board. There has to be more to the story than that single instance of bullying in the library. Let’s see if Parsons off the field conduct eventually justifies the Giants’ views.
If Parsons were on the Giants this season then the Giants very well may have been in the hunt for a division title and a spot in the play offs. With everyone healthy and a dominant defense there’s a real chance at a Lombardi. A good chance? Who knows. But it would have been a chance. Is that a far fetched statement? I don’t think so.
But sure, “the Giants had a line into PSU”. And “Parsons had off field issues”. (By the way, is beating the shit out of a team mate really an issue)? Yeah, and so we got Toney, who might turn out to be a nice player but came with some of his own worrying off field issues and plays a position that you can regularly find in later rounds.
But somehow me and the other fans who question Gellteman and Jints Central are stupid? As of right now, passing on Parsons was a huge mistake. So was passing on Slater. Who knows about the future? Well, I suppose that’s a fair question. But one thing we know about the future of this season, the Giants aren’t in the hunt for anything except maybe a new GM to carry on the 11 year rebuild. My hope is that the Giants get a GM who can get the answers right to the most important questions and not another one who just explains his wrong answers.

That s really good rebuttal and much unlike the negative swill we get here. But wrong, nevertheless. because it's based on dollops of hindsight. Given the circumstances at the time, the information available a 17 th ( or whatever it was) and Chicago' s no 1 next year was the absolutely. Unewuivocably correct call.
Try Barbara Tuckman's MARCH OF FOLLIES where she defines Folly or not Folly as a consequence of the information AVAILABLE AT THE TIME.

Agree that the Slater misevaluation is a major strike against DG.
(And I didn’t like the Toney pick then or now, but that’s a separate matter from Parsons.)
