Look at the 2018 roster (midway down this page). Who is left?
You are conflating failed rebuilds with no rebuilds.
The only argument you can legitimately make is that they should have dumped Eli sooner. But right now, he doesn't look like the problem, does he? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_New_York_Giants_season - ( New Window )
Its not debatable.
Its like fans saying "we didn't address the O-Line"
Its worse than not addressing it - they've continuously failed at it. Missed picks, FA signings. Constant failures.
are checking out. Two losses coming up and then who knows.
Hopefully wheels fall off and we clean house.
New GM, New HC, New QB, New OL
Another rebuild that will take years? Yea!?
The problem may be that they've never really rebuilt. They always seem to find a reason to believe they're just a few pieces away from contention within a season or two, and so they simply retool instead.
They've replaced all of the players at every position. No one is left.
The departures are incremental though. They occur over a series of years when they finally acknowledge that players aren't good.
In general, most of their moves reflect that they believe they're close. How many draft picks have they traded to move up, for example?
this team is bringing the play clock to 2 seconds every t=play before snapping the ball down 2 scores just shows how fucking stupid they are. And poorly coached on top of it.

Again, spot on. Even with Eli, I don't think the problem was holding on to him. The problem was not putting an OL in front of him and just assuming drafting Barkley (again with no OL) was the answer. It's not like we had just an OK OL. It was one of the worst I've ever seen. 4 years later, the OL is not any better.
But I’m sure folks here will keep making excuses. I can’t stand the excuses anymore. These are professionally paid coaches and players and executives and they literally fail as quickly and easily as waking up out of bed in the morning.
how is that possible? in the first half people here said he was better than Jones.
Do this really matter. Jones his hurt because Jones is not very good. He put himself in harms way when there are a million rules to protect a QB. Jones put us in this position. Glennon is being Glennon.

It was both. Eli was completely immobile and done. It was a mistake not to admit that and to try and build the team around him. But we also never fixed the OL.
Why does it take 30 seconds for the Giants to call a play and get lined up all game?

no.
Miami is forcing the issue, but the Giants are also not a well oiled machine and the Oline is not allowing them to operate
I am sure it is on film...
no... did you?

I am reversing course, I think jones might be a mvp candidate
Did you forget Eli winning that game two yrs ago? Colt McCoy last year? Jones hasn’t missed 11 games last few yrs by the way.
He means this year. Reading comprehension is your friend
No he didn’t. He said 0-11 without Jones. Has Jones missed 11 games this year?
I believe he meant that this season...if we didn't have Jones..we would be 0 and 11?

I don’t think that’s going to be an issue!
