Jones and the neck injury

This doesn't sound like a neck strain. The Giants could go into the offseason needing two QBs; a draft pick and a veteran stopgap. I can't run it back again with Jones if he needs surgery on his neck, because he'll be one hit from a catastrophic injury and he hasn't become a franchise QB yet. I didn't want to draft a QB high but the injury at least forces the Giants to draft one, maybe as high as Round 2

My guess if this were a serious injury he would not be traveling with the team.

At very worst, you need a developmental guy at QB. You know he's going to get injured every season and miss some time. He has proven that. Have someone behind him ready…a rookie with some potential. Not some aging journeyman.
