Option 1
Run it back. Keep the entire operation together - this includes either keeping Gettleman or elevating Abrams. Chalk up the year to injuries. If you are in this camp, you still believe in Jones. This option likely includes picking up Jones’ 5th year option.
Option 2
Make a change at GM, but retain Judge. Go out and find a new GM, and let him build his vision. 2022 will be used to evaluate Judge and the entire roster. If Judge doesn’t do well in 2022, a new HC is then brought in to be linked entirely with the new GM. This option most likely includes bringing Jones back, but not picking up his 5th year option.
Option 3
Fire Gettleman & Judge. Bring in a new GM and HC. Trade Jones for what you can get and essentially start over from scratch.
No other way to do it.
Trade everyone you can for whatever you can get. The name of the game now is to strip this down to the studs. Acquire draft picks in any round and accelerate all possible cap hits within the constraints of the cap.
There is no baby to throw out with the bathwater. Throw it all out, get to a baseline, and start over. "Expansion team" would be an improvement over the current situation...that should be the short term goal. Strip it down to an expansion team.

Except for the snide comment on Mara (even if it may be needed) this is correct.
Trade Jones, Barkley, whomever but keep the DBs. They at least seem to know how to play football.
Get in there and start a fight with a low blow.

This isn't fantasy football.
Plus there are useable players on this roster than can play a part on an eventual winning team.
Plus - even if there are players who won't be along long term - you don't simply trade away when they can help you compete today.
You want to run you team like the NBA's Sixers did - but you're dealing with 53 men not 12.
Not gonna work.
There's housecleaning, and demolishing lol......
Unless Mara is completely divorced from the decision making, I doubt much changes since his terrible judgment will be used to select the next GM.
I agree with Option 4. Hire a top GM and let him do whatever he wants. If he wants #3 fine, if he wants #2 fine
'I picked a helluva week to quit drinking.'

Follow that with the hiring of a consultant to educate Mara on how to operate a football team in 2021, and to assist in identifying and hiring the new GM and head coach.

There are only a handful of usable players on this team. It's badly constructed with a lot of trash.
Unfortunately we're stuck with most of them through 2022.
The encouraging part though, is when Mara and Tisch, retire and turn the franchise over to the next generation, there will be as many as 25 dolts running things. This franchise is 100% f$&@ed!

It seems they've decided Tim McDonnell is the guy on the Mara side, at least.
Though if 25 heirs were fighting over the team, I think that's a scenario where the league would step in again like they did in the 70s.

Never mind the fact that we did just this, scorched earth, started late 18 and into 2020...
It’s about star power and coaching. We have neither.
