hasn't Daniel Jones ALREADY been evaluated by a specialist?
Who cares
It's actually kind of important, that the starting QB had to wait over a week to get seen by a specialist for a potentially serious neck injury. Organizational incompetence also helped ruin Jones

It is up to Jones's camp and really Jones to do that. Giants cannot force Jones to see the specialist they can only clear him or not.

Seriously.
Judge's answers on Jones were strange last week too. The beats were calling Judge out on being so forthcoming about ruling Jones out and he responded "well maybe I'm just in a funny mood"...
I know everyone loves a good conspiracy, but are they lying about the injuries to try new QB's?
Both QB's finished the games and then suddenly are too hurt to play the following week.
It would seem to me if you want to try a new QB who just got here that ruling out the other guys right away would help Fromm get all the reps and prepare to succeed -- as unlikely as that is.
but it doesn't leave me sunny with optimism that Fromm has been on their practice squad since the start of last season and nobody thought about signing him until last week.
I think if the Bills really thought they had something there, they would've elevated him long ago, if only as insurance for Josh Allen
couldn't beat out Trubisky or Davis Webb, and as someone said, nobody else signed him off of the Bills PS.His arm is also weak by NFL standards and he's been with the team for less than a week. Fine. Let's see him. But I expect nothing.
I know what you mean but do you realize what a massive coaching upgrade Jim Fassel would be? Fassel coached a team with a good defense and Danny Kannell starting at QB to almost win a playoff game. Judge meanwhile…
You’re probably right but in terms of QB prospects to look at, he’s probably one of the most interesting available guys. Kurt Warner was in the arena league and look who WFT is starting. So why not?

Good for the kid. Go get em.
No kidding.
Hopefully he starts the last 5 games.
I joke. Kind of.

Agreed. I don’t get people resisting this. There is nothing to lose, just look at Heinicke for WFT.
Who cares

HIs family.
4-13. Book it.
I joke. Kind of.
That would be fine too. The unknown is better than the known garbage.
It's a pathetic state of affairs right now. Absolutely pathetic.
This season feels a lot like 2003.

I think it's worse. In 2003 we at least had Jeremy Shockey to provide entertainment

One other comment about DJ's neck injury or what the Giants call a "strain" : Why wasn't he scheduled for a specialist visit last week.
Even the Giants medical staff sucks....
Seriously.

And ruin what? His precious .300 neighborhood record?
Jones stinks. Glennon stinks.

It's not like 2003 but will start to be with Fromm and Leweke starting.
I joke. Kind of.
I think you are missing the point. Consider this an open try-out for the QB position. So why wouldn't you want to see different players like Fromm?
We're not going to the playoffs and, if healthy, who in their right mind wants to see Jones anymore?
Because we are incompetent from the head on down?

We are definitely in Jesse Palmer territory.
Fromm is decent enough looking to be the next Bachelor too.

I'm sure Fromm's family wants to see him play, too.

Here's what I think you don't get. Those guys are sub NFL talent most likely who are going to get their doors blown of playing behind this talent.
How in the world is that an open tryout? There's zero tryout here. Sounds like a suicide mission.
I know it's Georgia and they are loaded with talent but at least he accomplished this at some level of football.
No way..
I wish it were 03. This team seems more dire.
The 02 team made the playoffs after all.
I joke. Kind of.
It's not funny.

425 kickoff? Visiting cousin in Maine? Yeah, I will be sauced by kickoff.
Do you really think there is an actual possibility that Jones’ injury is not legit!
Yikes!

LMAO...I'm with you brother!
This should end well.
Both Kurt and Heinke have NFL arms.
