This will be the next year that the Giants could be relevant again, unfortunately. Next year is a complete wash and possibly the worst in our history as it will be the purging of large salaries and bad players. This should also coincide with a new GM and hopefully a new coach.
2023 will be when the real rebuild begins with a solid plan in place moving forward. With any luck, we'll have a competitive team as soon as 2025 but I'm thinking it will take a year longer.
Of course, this all hinges on the successful hiring of a GM who knows what the hell he's doing. If he doesn't, we could be looking at 4 to 5 more years of losing football. Lets hope for the best.
A new regime, a few hits in the draft and it's possible to compete quickly.
Teams turn it around QUICKLY in the NFL. competent oline play alone would probably have gotten us another win or 2 this year. Fix the OL and watch how much better EVERYONE else looks.
