Fewest offensive TDs this season:
Texans - 18
Giants - 18 |
The Giants spent the #2, #6, #4 & #20 picks ALL on the offensive side of the ball in the last 4 drafts. They also gave big money to Kenny Golladay & signed Kyle Rudolph. Yet, 18 touchdowns is the result.
Incompetent doesn’t even begin to describe this front office.
Offensive TD’s which is 18.
BTW here we are, 4-8 even though we are PLUS 4 in the turnover differential. A stat that is usually the opposite for teams with a losing record.
We have attempted 29 FG's through 12 games.
We have scored 19 TDs and our opponents have scored 30. They have also kicked 21 FG's. We let teams score a lot of points and when you don't score points, you go three and out a lot, your defense will continue to wear down.
Kenny Golladay leads the team in receiving yards. I know it is a low number overall but, anyone else actually surprised that he leads the team. Between how quiet he has been and how much time he has missed or been limited that just shows how truly awful we are offensively.
Riley Dixon's net average punting is 39.9 both an indictment on how average to below average he is and how much we punt to a short field.
UGH, just so bad overall. Look at the Lions, they are not overly talented anywhere on that roster and yet, they really should have beaten Ravens, Bears and even the Steelers (ended as a tie). While we have said the Giants should have 2 more wins we could easily have lost to Philly and the Raiders were driving late to possibly beat us then too.
This team has regressed not developed and Judge has shown a MAJOR lack of game day feel and decision making. He coaches scared or better yet, he coaches from a playbook in the 80's as if his team has a shutdown defense and ground and pound offense. He looks for field position and time usage- all the while the other team is trying to stab you in the heart from anywhere on the field.
The most uninspiring, most listless and most gutless Giants team since I can remember. There is bad and then there is what we have become- a joke...
2021 - 17.6 (28th thru 12 games)
2020 - 17.5 (31st)
When asked about the Offense's miniscule improvement in points scored, General Manager Dave Gettleman remarked, "Rome wasn't built in a day darling...this is a brick by brick process".
Goff is horrible and their line has been below average- due to injuries. Hockenson YES and Swift maybe BUT, he ahs been injured too.

19 TDs total. Still pretty depressing.
Offensive TD’s which is 18.
Yeah. Was replying to the guy above me, not the OP.
There isn't a team in the league except maybe the Texans that I wouldn't trade the Giants roster, picks and cap straight up for.
