As I see it there are 4 teams and how they play that will determine spots 4-7 in the draft (Giants, Chicago, Jets, Seattle).
Here is my prediction for the last 5 games for each team and how the draft order will fall:
Giants Jets Chicago Seattle
@LAC L NO L GB L HOU W
DAL L Mia L Min W LAR L
Phi W Jax W Sea L Chi W
Chi W TB L NYG L DET W
Was W Buf L Min L AZ W
3-2 1-4 1-4 4-1
I do think that week 18 AZ having clinched the playoffs and top seed will sit their top stars for the playoffs.
This would leave the draft order as follows:
#4 Jets 4-13
#5 Chi 5-12 and (Pick goes to US!!!!!)
#6 Giants 7-10
#7 Sea 8-9 (Pick goes to Jets)
Based on this, I think we will have 5th and 6th picks in the draft. I also see at least one team Det or Hou taking a QB in the top 3.
UMMM, NO!
UMMM, NO!
Even if we lost to Philly or Washington the draft order would remain the same under this scenario
5-12 will be the final record IMO.
You have the Giants going 3-2 over their last 5 games, ending up with a 7-10 record?
No disrespect, but there's just no way that's gonna happen.
This team may have one more win in it. They don't stand a chance against Dallas, Philly and the Chargers. They will lose to Washington and with a lot of luck they may somehow squeak by da Bears. But I doubt it.
5-12 is the very best I can see. 4-13 just as likely.
I just do not agree with rooting for losses. There are alot of bad teams in the NFL who always draft fairly high and they never get any better. All that happens with a crappy finish is that you end up blowing up the team. The Giants finishing 3-2 would be awesome. Over the long term draft position does not help all that much.

to go 0-5 at this point. Since they play each other, we want the team who is line for the higher draft pick to lose. Anything beyond 1-5 for NYG would be a waste. I am hoping some how the Giants end up with a top 4 pick. Not likely, but I am hoping.

I hate it too and it's hard to sit there and watch the team you love lose (and suck for that matter). But we are looking at a complete rebuild once again and as such, I am all for giving the new GM all of the advantages they can get. And picking early not just in the first round but in every round thereafter cannot hurt.
Amen to that, brother!
The Giants aren't going to beat the Chargers, Washington, Philly or Dallas - if Glennon or Fromm is the QB it is unlikely they will beat even Chicago
Sorry, even if you think they can go 3-2, you lost all credibility thinking that a 7-10 record will get the Giants the 6th pick and an 8-9 record will get the Jets the 7th pick. You must believe the Falcons, Panthers, Saints and Vikings will all win at least three games and seven teams with 6 wins will each all win at least two games. And the Jets would have strength of schedule advantage over all of them.
We want whichever team has the highest strength of schedule to win that game. But however unlikely, a tie would be more beneficial to keep us both picking ahead of all the 5 win teams (not just the first, but every other round), including the Jets if they beat the Dolphins and Jags.
Hopefully they don't go to DET or HOU so that JAX/NYJ/SEA all move above CHI 4 wins and SOS. Possible the CHI pick is 3 if the wins lined up and an upset or two.
And with the 5th pick in the 2022 NFL draft. The NY Football Giants select:
Porter Wilson. Punter, Duke University.....
