I found this a bit unusual. The Bills signed Mitch Trubiski to a one year contract as primary backup in March. They also drafted Fromm and had David Webb at training camp competing.
Fromm made the comments in the article below just after the draft so I am guessing Bills Brass never really gave him a chance to make the squad and opted to give David Webb more reps as No 3 in preseason.
Obviously he was cut by bills, But why did they resign him to practice squad if they already had Davis Webb, (2 QB's on Practice Squad at the same time seems like over compensated move unless they thought Fromm really had some talent and didn't just want to give up on it.
Those comments i imagined helped seal his fate in seeing any playing time in Buffalo

Hmm, nah.. The "practice Squad" isn't exactly going to stop anyone from snagging him if he is in such demand. More than likely it was to keep Miami, NYJ's and NE from just bringing him in to pick his brain about the Bills operations. To sign off the practice squad he ahs to be added to your actual roster. That to me seems like the only reason they signed him to the Practice Squad.
The Giants have a lot of dawgs on the team who know him well.
Hopefully he can play.

Comments like this are either make or break for a guy. Its more likely it was tolerated with Allen because he was 14 at the time than it was his draft status. Either way, Fromm is likely where he was (practice squad) because that's the caliber of player he showed to be, that's all.
The kid played well a couple years at Georgia. We know that. That’s all we know. Let’s see what happens.
No way is he a more capable backup than Mitch. And that's what they need, a backup, not a lottery ticket.
I know I wouldn't respect him in the locker room.
And considering he isn't even average when it comes to NFL QBs...LOL...wonder why he was asked to stick around.

Not that Jones has the strongest arm but's it's NFL starting QB average and he's 6'4" and runs the RPO often if not well.
I know there is a UGA Giants shuttle but he still seems like an odd choice since he's nothing like Jones. I know Glennon isn't either but I still find it odd.

As much as I thought Glennon was horrible; now that I think about it ; his connecting with Golladay on some pretty passes was pretty much the highlight of the season. Yea before he got knocked out and his coach could not get a play called.
