Robinson seems to be very good at keeping up with the guy he's covering. One thing I've notice though, which concerns me, is that he often seems to have his back to the QB and sticks his hands up reacting to the receiver. Seems like this could result in a lot of completions/PI's, albeit followed by a quick tackle. I'd like to see him look back at some point to see where the ball is. Anyone else notice this? Can it be fixed with coaching and reps? If so, I think this guy can have a great future.
I really like what I’ve seen from Robinson. Physical, doesn’t get “beat”, but has let a few catches up which if you ask me have just been a great throw and catch. Not excusing It, but he’s right there nearby to make a play.
Without training camp or Practice half the year, one of the few bright spots on the roster.
I think so too . Think Robinson is a keeper just needs a little time to get confidence...plays hard, smart, not scared to tackle, and seems sticky in man. Secondary seems good just need that pass rush
Agreed! And as rookies go, Robinson is lightyears ahead of Apple and Baker... 2 1st RD CBs who almost never looked good.
It's just too bad he got off to late start, with his surgery.
He's playing catch up right now, tough at that position.
My bet is he will be the starting nickel next year.
He seems to have the tools needed to do a decent job.
Can we finally have a little luck come our way

It is apparent from the Giants-Eagles game that a DB can play with his back to the QB and the ball and not get called for PI. Football in the 2020s.
