Without a line. End of the day football is won on the lines. We are brutal on offense and on defense we lack edge talent.
I actually agree 100%. Our OLine is our biggest weakness. But, one would think that in over a month of football one of our skill players would find a way into the endzone.
was that Glennon had a lot of time on most passing plays and there apparently weren't any WRs open to throw to. Those two sacks in the 3rd quarter he must have had 6 seconds on each one. Watch any other game and that much time gets people open. Every team has a RB open in the flats as a checkdown. The Giants rarely do.
Is it WRs or is it the routes? I think it is mostly play design. The Giants have good enough WRs, IMHO.

I haven't heard it talked about too much on here, but it's possible our running game is so bad that teams are dropping into max pass protection on a lot of plays because they don't fear us on the ground.
It's also possible they our WRs are not getting open. When guys like Pharaoh Cooper can come in and be targeted immediately, it makes me wonder why we are paying Ross and Golladay big money.

I’m not sure if Ross counts as big money. But, Golladay has absolutely been non-existent, and it appears to be one of the worst ROI contracts the Giants have agreed to since Nate Solder.

I'm just going to make a little gripe about the broadcast which I thought was horrible yesterday.
They said this quite a few times but never actually showed clips or replays of the Miami DBs blanketing our receivers. Not to say they didn't, I'd just like to broadcast to show it if they say it.

We lack edge talent? Roche looks awfully talented to me
We lack a consistent presence off the edge. Roche and Ojulari have talent, but they aren't consistent. We would be wise to keep adding to the Edge room.

You would think with all the cameras they have out there they would show what they are talking about, but these networks shove in so many commercials that they have missed actual plays, let alone replays.
I always keep an eye out for the All-22 camera reviews that come out later in the week
how is Roche supposed to apply pressure form the bench

I wish ESPN had an all 22 only channel
Watching network football is like looking through a keyhole
Glennon couldnt get the ball to any of them. He was panicking from the beginning of the play. It was one of the worst QB performances I have seen. They had very little pressure and he had a clean pocket. The sacks were on him. Too much time throw it away if needed.
Barkley is a shell of himself. He's has no burst. His decision making is bad too. There were some holes and he just didnt trust or see them. I think he is in his head too and probably will never be the same player he was as a rookie.
Golliday is a head scratcher. They take him out on key plays which I dont understand. I think we are not giving him routes to be successful. Glennon badly missed him a few times too yesterday.
For some reason Slayton is the guy we target the most and he is an enigma. Some games he looks elite and then he disappears. Lots of drops for him and he doesnt compete hard for the ball.

This is nonsense
Glennon had gobs of time yesterday
He was either gunshy after the INT or no one was open
If Glennon plays again he has to learn to trust his receivers to win the battle and just air it out
