After doing this with Kelvin Benjamin. Judge is 10-18 after 28 games, what more do you expect with a shit front office and roster?
Judge hasn’t been good this year, but you can argue he hasn’t even been able to start here yet. Inherited a shitty GM, inherited a QB who doesn’t produce& inherited a shitty OL.
Oh and by the way, Andrew Thomas improved once Columbo was gone. He was far from right.

all that aside, judge's in-game decision-making has been disastrous-- just as bad as shurmur if not worse. this is something that has absolutely nothing to do with the roster or the front office.

Bingo. Judge falls short in areas that don’t have anything to do with the players or front office. He’s the executive on the field during games. Everything runs through him. He’s blowing it on the elementary level shit. THAT’S what is driving the narrative with him sucking.
If he was making all the right decisions and the players just weren’t executing them he would get a pass. But he calls dumb time outs, doesn’t go for it on fourth down in obvious spots, the players are always snapping the ball with almost no time left, and so on.
If I ran the company I’m with this way, the owners would boot my ass out. Luckily for me I know how to evaluate talent, manage daily operations, open lines of communication with all departments, and when to move on from bad team players.
I agree with you. Judge has not been good enough. Shurmur got a raw deal too. So did McAdoo. The common denominator has been a shitty front office for all these coaches.
I’d be fine moving on with Judge in a full house cleaning, but it’s hard for me to pile on knowing what he has inherited. You know who else is 10-18 and fired an OC? Matt Rhule.

So, you are arguing that he either can't be properly evaluated or doesn't suck? Even if you want to excuse SOME of the ineptitude on injuries and personnel given to him, he still has a large enough track record already of poor game management. He seems to botch timeouts every week. He seems to botch clock management every week. Every week he makes a few in game decisions that are highly questionable. Plus, he promised us a coaching staff full of teachers to develop our young roster. Outside of 2 or 3 guys (I can only think of McKinney, Thomas, and maybe Love) who are actually better today than the day Judge started. Nobody has been developed, the team is no better than it was, the team is not disciplined as promised, special teams (his specialty) is terrible. That's all just off the top of my head. This sounds like a quality HC to you?
if the belief is that Judge will improve as a coach

Bingo. I have been saying that for a long time the front office people need to change and I don’t care that the family
Is no denying he’s made some questionable decisions this year but last year I thought he was pretty good. He’s a very young coach about to finish his second season.. the question isn’t weather he’s making mistakes (he is) but weather or not we believe he will learn from them.. I would absolutely give him a 3rd year to find out
If he wants to move on with Judge, and only because he actually believes in him, fine. But, I don't want another GM forced to inherit Judge if that is not his choice as HC.

If he gets a third year and continues with 1980's field position, play not to lose bullshit, then I'M KICKING A GARBAGE CAN!

Field position isn't necessarily an outdated notion or strategy. But, you need both a really good and consistent punter and a shut down D for it to make a difference. The Giants have neither and they don't have an offense that can easily flip field position either.
Belichik feeds his coaches to the rest of the league so that they can be better when they go back to NE as coordinators. Judge will be back in NE next year with two years of HC experience under his belt.

Called him a c**t
I know you like Judge, but I’m starting to actually feel like he buys into this inherited logic.
I’d like to start seeing some improvements on the situation these guys are inheriting.
The reason you get a new coach or GM is because the last guy didn’t do well. Not enough improvement in my view.

I think Judge *will* be a fine head coach one day, he’s learning on the job.
If he was working with a bright, strong, leader at GM I think he could have done well.
You hire a 38-year-old and surround him with a bunch of babies 30 years his senior, I’m not surprised this stinks.
But now it’s time to bring in that bright, strong leader and let him choose everything.

Show an area where he has excelled. Any area. There will be none and that’s why he should be canned.
