Why wait that long? Is there really any more needed to reach that decision?
I am not one who calls for someone else's job lightly. But, professional sports is it's own animal. Honestly, what has he done in his career for anyone to feel like he earned the right to ride this season out and "retire"?

The stop buying tickets isn't really realistic. Most season ticket holders will continue to buy their tickets because they want to have them when the team gets good again. Either, they have to eat the seats and have a half empty stadium every week or sell them in huge numbers to opposing fans, creating an embarrassing optic (and sound) every week.

...his job is way more than personnel. He's in charge of all operations in that building. He's literally the GENERAL MANAGER of the NYG. Think there's anybody left in that building who feels like they're reporting to a guy with any longevity? He needs to be gone yesterday.
