Should he be in the NFL MVP discussion. Some say yes, Kay Adams said no because they currently are not in the playoffs. She mentioned LT as the last defensive player as MVP but added- Giants were 14-2 and won the SB. To be MVP on defense your team needs to be winning and at least be in the playoffs.
they are allowing 24 ppg which doesn't even crack the top 20. The past 2 seasons they were top 3 and top 5. As a whole that defense is really average and while I don't blame Watt for that, his impact has been limited.
MVP will be Brady or Rodgers. Could have been Murray but the injury will keep him from it.

I agree, unless Jonathan Taylor continues his pace and the Colts catch the Titans.
Remember when we all those cool Tight Ends were available that year and went early in the draft?
#19 OJ Howard - Tampa Bay
#23 Evan Engram - NY Giants
#29 David Njoku - Cleveland
#30 TJ Watt - Pittsbugh
#32 Ryan Ramczyk - New Orleans
#146 George Kittle - San Francisco
Man, that EE pick still stings today. The guy was not a 1st pick period but certainly not the pick for us then. Draft picks are crapshoots, that is a known fact BUT, methodology on who you pick and when is where the Giants fail horribly over the last 10 years.
the funny thing is that TJ Watt wasn't this good in college
That is the impact of moving to 17 games. I really think they should move to records being recorded as "per season game".
Surprised it has lasted this long with virtually all teams routinely throwing 35 to 45 passes a game. Imagine if LT had played 16 games against teams throwing that many times a game. Of course, on the other side, the West Coast Offense and the prevalence of 3-step drops has hindered sack totals.
Rodgers has no shot in winning the MVP after that vaccination shit.

All those TEs had obvious flaws, but somehow they all got over-hyped that year. And our guys fell for the hype.
Kittle has had his injuries as he goes hard every game, but one of my favorite players in the whole league...

Consensus was late first, early second. Had the Giants picked him, fans would have crucified the team - at least at first.

I think the dark horse his Stafford. Him and Brady have very similar numbers and are both primed to go deep in the playoffs.

I would give it to Taylor

A perfect example of why the Giants have been a failure for so many years now, period...
