CFB - Heisman finalists

Didn't see a thread so I'm starting one here - and if there is one that I missed than apologies.

Finalists:

Alabama QB Bryce Young
Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson
Pitt QB Kenny Pickett
Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud

Personally I'm surprised they didn't take Kenneth Walker III as one of the finalists, but as a Michigan fan I don't mind seeing a Michigan State player get bumped by a Michigan player.

Curious who this board thinks should win. Pains me to say it as a Michigan fan but I think it should be Stroud. Young had a great game against Georgia but he had a bad game against Auburn. I'm not sure Stroud really had a bad game all season. Even against Michigan he kept them in the game when their defense couldn't stop Michigan from running the ball.

i'd like to see a defensive player get the award

It has become a QB award so Young will win it. I would love to see Hutchinson win it, but I don't see it.

1 meh game against a rival shouldn't sway things that much IMO. Stroud didn't play well against Nebraska, I don't think that should ding him either.

That said beating the pants off Georgia and without your best WR for a bulk of the game matters a lot.

I tend to agree it will be Young

I'd love for it to be Hutchinson, of course. Stranger things have happened; after all, Woodson did win over Manning, but he also played on offense and special teams.

but leaving Ridder out is a mistake. He had a huge year for Cincinnati and capped off a terrific career there.

He should be there instead of Stroud. No doubt...
