Yeah I know it won't let me edit it now unfortunately, I didn't want to really edit it at all because it's not my letter so I just straight up copied it but that was a miss on my part. Oh well
To up the ante on position views
Nice job Eric. I am sick of inferior product
dG was an ass when he was coaching against us at spackenkill and I want him gone in the worst way
about to hit 100 and we have a "David Carr" , "Chris Bober" and "David Wells"
Happy to have you all but if you read BBI and you are the David Wells from the Yankees, I was at your perfect game but sadly lost the beanie baby. You are one of my favorite Yankees!
And thanks for the support to all our potentially well known or not well known signers!
create a go-fund me campaign to raise enough money to buy out thousands of PSLs from people who no longer want them. The total funds needed would be in the millions to buy out 20% of the PSLs.
Then, do not buy the tickets and let the ownership of the seats revert back to the Giants. They will then lose ticket money unless there are thousands of idiots who would actually step up to buy tickets to see the team play.
On a final note, you do run a significant risk here if the team remains a bottom feeder. This isn’t the 1970’s anymore where young people will blindly follow a losing franchise because their parents did. Worse, you are not only losing young fans but long-time ones who are tuning the team out. The team often isn’t even competitive when losing. My interest has waned. My teenage kids want to like the team, but now they just kind of laugh at the franchise, preferring to spend their free time on more enjoyable activities. They have more to choose from than kids in the 1970s. So do the adults.
a football team with over a million fans could possibly care about a petition with 200 signatures...
It’s been posted for an hour and already exceeded your 200 signatures. The idea is to share it. Not just sign it. You share it and hopefully whoever you share it with shares it. My bad for jumping the gun and assuming you may have friends though.
got two young kids myself and if this doesn't turn around tough to get them to get them interested in this franchise when my interest lacking.
I used to hand my GF now Wife the schedule at the beginning of seasons and say don't plan anything around these dates. Now I know halfway through the season I don't really care about being home watching the game...sad.

and this is exactly why this wont work. Because your part of the pussy generation that complains and insults instead of inflicting real change
you want to change a private business, get your own and change it that way
I have plenty of friends, most of which are huge Giants fans and have been for life. However, were not pathetic enough to allow a game we enjoy effect the quality of our lives
1. Ouch! if the shoe fits wear it. That would be a large segment of BBI wanna be GM.
2. Mora is right. We are fans, we think we know but we do not now.
3. We overreact to both: wins and loses.
4. Owner has hired 3 head coaches since TC, he is trying, has not worked out.
5. GM - OL lost 2 starters by game 2. LT missed games, 2 veteran backup OL retired during training camp. GM traded for 2 young OL, did not work out as many hoped. What were you expecting? OL expectations went down the toilet by game 2.
This ownership needs to see empty seats for the last game. Dont sell the tickets, leave them empty.
Another option is to make a collection here and run a full page ad in one of the local papers. This is an oldschool ownership. Run an ad and then it can be shared on social media.
if he hadn’t mocked them on his front page, or once say that the Giants wouldn’t win again until “Wellington was dead”, John Mara just might respect Eric’s perspective, but your delusional if you believe John Mara gives a crap what Eric believes.
RE: Why does the link have a political theme to it?
I went to post on a Giants FB group but I'm not dealing with the idiotic "Pepe the frog in a Giants uni" nonsense
I had no idea that frog was political. I just liked that he was sad and potentially suicidal seemingly over the Giants sucking. I'm happy to change the image, I just didn't want to do like the Giants logo because they could perhaps sue me. Totally open to suggestions.
This says pepe the frog is not inherently political
Yeah buddy it is. It's a big symbol for the Alt-Right.
Quote:
In the 2010s, the character's image was appropriated as a symbol of the alt-right movement, as well as by white supremacists.[7] The Anti-Defamation League included Pepe in its hate symbol database in 2016, but said most instances of Pepe were not used in a hate-related context.[8][9] Since then, Furie has expressed his dismay at Pepe being used as a hate symbol and has sued organizations for doing so.[7]
In 2019, Pepe was used by protesters in the 2019–2020 Hong Kong protests. Despite being used in a political context, Pepe the Frog's use in Hong Kong is not perceived as being connected with alt-right ideology. Furie has welcomed the use of Pepe by Hong Kong protesters.
Pepe remains a recognizable and familiar sight on social media platforms like 4chan, Twitch, Reddit, and Discord, where images are modified into custom pepe-based emoji.
to something a little more universally likable. I'd prefer if these people were also trying to electrocute themselves but anything to make the petition acceptable to a wider audience!
While I applaud NoGainDayne in his attempt to influence here, this effort did not involve me.
I'm confused by people on this thread mentioning "donating"... is that with respect to Change.org? And if so, for what purpose? That seems shady to me.

Any petition on change.org allows people to donate to it and they basically use those dollars to promote the petition on their website, when people sign other petitions and maybe via email as well? That last part I don't know but I've been emailed about petitions before
Much better to hit the owners in the wallet. It's the only thing they understand. Don't buy tickets. Don't buy merch. If you happen have tickets, sell them to the away team fans, or post a video of you burning them. Seeing fans burn tickets was one of the only things that got Wellie off his ass. And John remembers that.

They seemed to find out about the Clown Photo so I'm guessing they will get wind of this...
If not maybe one of our well known signers will send it to them.

How does this end up in the hands of Mara?

Gotcha. Thanks for doing this. Those names you just posted, David Wells, etc is pure gold!
Let's get this done!

Buy a billboard by the stadium, be visible.
No one was more wrong and more sure of himself than FMIC. But he has to take a break because this place is too toxic
Why do that? You're going to lose a ton of fans that would normally sign it

Laugh all you want $300 in donations for 375 signatures
