and listening to the FANS- just look at this site and this thread. We can't agree on anything and what one sees someone else sees completely differently. There are thoughts about Fans being MEAN to Judge, or FANS don't know football and then the opposite some FANS here think they know the inner workings of the Giants and the rest of the NFL. We see the sides being arranged quickly:
Pro Mara vs Anti Mara
Pro Judge vs Anti Judge
Pro Dg-- ok that one that doesn't exist
Pro Judge stuck with bad Jones vs Anti Judge Pro Jones
It goes on and on. The biggest factor is we are all Giants fans. To be honest the only way we can get our point across is to not buy TICKETS, not buy Giants MERCH and make it obvious- show up to the stadium but do not go in..
Instead we fight with each other, fight with the media guys/gals and argue constantly in absolutes that NONE of us can really state.
Do I love the NY Giants? Absolutely. I have been a die hard fan since 1970 (at the age of 1)- ok, I have pictures of me in a Giants shirt watching Giants football with my dad holding. But a big time die hard fan since the early 70's.
Do I like where the Giants are at today- HELL NO. It is embarrassing.
Have I soured on Joe Judge? YES and I believe completely he needs to go. It isn't a knee jerk reaction. It is piecing together things he ahs said since he was hired with the results that have come. His talk in the beginning was setting the tone and now it is all about CYA, about how the true gains are in things we cannot see. That to me flies in the face of the stance he took when hired. When you preach one thing and your team exhibits another that is a big problem. I don't care if a guy is an asshole, hell BB isn't exactly a warm and friendly guy, but I do care when you come off as an asshole trying to somehow defend your 10-22 record as a HC. Nothing Joe Judge has down in two years has me seeing a potential Playoff winning and SB winning HC. Instead I see a guy who could easily be gone now but at this rate will surely be gone next year with 3 to 1 losses to wins...
Eric has always done a nice job of maintaining the editorial side of this site.
Many of us interact mainly in the forum, but the editorial part of this site draws plenty of traffic and attention.
Whether John Mara knows who Eric is or not, the Giants do know what BBI is and the place it holds with hundreds of thousands of fans through the years. Eric’s letter is meaningful.
Change.org petitions have shown time and again to be attention getting tools for the public to get their voice heard from corporations, representatives etc.
If it’s not your style or not something you find interesting, there are hundreds of other discussions happening on this forum. Just scroll down. There’s absolutely nothing weirder on this site than those who jump in, just to announce they aren’t interested in the topic.
Many people could have written this letter. We could have collaborated, suggested edits etc.
But Eric is a fan first and foremost I think. And we are all here because of him. To me that's powerful. This could be said in many different ways but I've at times thought that Eric has been too understanding of the team. And I think people think he's being to hard on them now. I'd say he stays pretty balanced and fair. We aren't a law firm, we are fans and I think this captures the mood of the fans well. He's pretty practiced at that after all
Fat friend in Charlotte is allowed some time from the BBI Witness Protection Program to sign and donate.
doubt it, he seemed to be losing it on one of his latest podcast complaining about how bad the fans are. Not posting here seems to be getting to him, the podcast façade is cracking.
That damn Fat friend of mine is always up to something. Leave it to him to home in on the fans as a problem. The teflon he has wrapped around these owners and management is just bizarre.
This is so cringe. Can't believe a bunch of grown-assed adults wrote that poorly written letter then made it public. Seriously...all I can do is laugh.

re: poorly written-- check out your own post.
It's odd, people are critical of a letter when the team of highly paid individuals can't even reach a performance level of poor. They'd be lucky to have just poor performance. Yet some people prefer to critique the hobbyists just engaging with this in this way because they care.
Or do you just enjoy losing and/or putting your faith in hopeless causes?
Ah, I see your confusion. You are confusing me thinking people donating money to this is stupid with me being overly loyal to the team (and therefore must know people there). Here in the real world, I can think (a) DG needs to go, (b) the team needs a major overhaul, and (c) donating to this is idiotic. I can have those separate thoughts.

You’re a grown assed adult using “cringe” in a sentence? While ridiculing others?
You’d have been better off just sitting this one out.
It's really NOT that they blew the #2 and # 6 Picks!!!
It really is everything else they've done. Barkley was a great player...maybe he still can be a great player. Jones remained an open question for most people for a long time...there may still be some question. You pick a QB and HOPE...so, that's what you always get with a QB Pick.
The problem is that THEY don't seem to have a good command of what an NFL Player looks like! Start with O Line. I get the injuries, but they planned for absolute perfection and they projected guys poorly...their own guys!!!! Peart Can't play?...the projected starter!!!??? Fernandez cannot play... I've never liked him, and he's made me right! Then they disregarded the quality of their backups. This continued with their backup QB,,,he cannot play!!!! I lay this at the feet of Gettlemen, but I cannot accept that Judge and his staff weren't in on evaluation of needs versus their own roster.
Their present draft---No O Linemen?,,,, a late round Specials RB?????? That's how rock solid the roster was!!!???..a Special Teams Only RB!!!?????
PS...the coaching?.... maybe they're running a great skills clinic, but their evaluation of their players and their in game decisions SUCK!!!!!
I would have read the 1st 2 paragraphs and threw it out. Before you get your panties in a bunch PLEASE HEAR ME OUT.
1st off that letter was NOT a letter of concern (Even though I know it was, but Im not John Mara) that letter was a personal Attack of John Mara and the entire Giants Organization.
No one is going to take being attacked and being totally and brutally criticized by a person that has no idea about the inner workings of a Business or attacking the person the letter is addressed to. Also I dont care who it is, no one is going to read a letter from someone he or she doesn't know from GOD himself that is attacking he or she personally.
There are way better ways to word things in a letter than to personally attack that person. Human nature itself is going to step in and say this guy is a total ass and has no idea what he is talking about, and that is as far as it would ever go.
Im sorry there is a lot better ways to word something like that letter without attacking the person and the organization.
I would bet my life savings that, that letter went directly into the shredder and he hasnt tjhought about since he read it.
Did you ever thinkmthat you could have stated FACT instead of opinion and still gotten your point accross?? In my n experience that always seemed to work a lot better that a personal attack, which in all reality when being attacked 99% of all people just stop listening or in this case STOP READING.
I understand what you were trying get accross and the reasons for it, I didnt agree with all of it but I understood it. Opinion NEVER goes anywhere, OPINION added in with attacks is DOOMED TO FAIL.
Just in case anyone wants to take another look at this
Pro Mara vs Anti Mara
Pro Judge vs Anti Judge

I don't do a lot of petitions lol. But I definitely think raising $612 in less than 24 hours is good

i didn't donate to this and have no idea what the money is even supposed to go toward, but i did sign it.
was more curious about how the number of signatures in the allotted time stacks up with other similar efforts, etc etc.
