I'm sure the team is purposely putting out bits and pieces so nobody has a clue what it is. There are obviously multiple options they own trademark for. The Admirals linking to their site. Launching on Groundhog Day with Hogs one of the choices. Now Commanders. Good job on the team keeping it chaotic.
That's a turkey on dry toast name. Thats the name of an antagonist team from a bad movie about an aging QB coming to grips with his fading ability. That's a name proposed by a focus group of men in their 50s who own multiple pairs of white New Balance sneakers (newer for dress and older for lawn work).
It's really difficult to pick a new name for an established franchise. None of them work really, although at least Hogs ties into their history. Everything else sucks.
