had no faith in texans or jets winning. But that CHI pick could have been easily 12 if CHI won.

Don’t force an overt OT need pick. Pick the players that are best fits on talent and into an NFL program.

Lions and Texans are wild cards. Could be a sneaky QB pick there.

I don't think the Texans will pick a QB. David Culley doubled down on Davis Mills.

It's also possible that the three top OL are so evenly graded that getting the third one off the board is no worse than getting the first one. Right now an argument can be made for any of the three as top dog. You could see Cross as the best left tackle, Neal as having the highest upside, and Ekwonu as the safest best for a long career (albeit on the right side).

I would be happy with Cross/Ickey at #5 and Ojabu/ Linderbaum at #7. Or better yet trade down a few spots from #7 if possible. Can still get possibly Ojabu or Linderbaum.

Is picking 5th. I find it hard to believe that there are 4 worse teams than the Giants right now.

But from what I've read, Linderbaum (sp?), is basically Bruce Matthews 2.0, if that's the case, Giants need to draft him. Can someone with more knowledge on college football chime in or direct me to a reputable source?

Pass rush & OL. I’d like to trade down from 7 and add extra picks for next season when Bryce Young, Stroud, and Uigalele are available. (The latter will really have to improve.)

For future number 1’s. We should keep doing that until 2030, when we’ll have the entire first round all to ourselves.

I think we take Hamilton at 5, and trade down at 7. Plenty of other good OL in this draft.

A team that may want to move up for a QB- Denver, who picks #9. They have a number of key pieces and may believe that they are a QB away. They might be willing to overpay to move up to 5.

And if the Bears had not won two of their last six on last play field goals the Giants would be picking 4 and 5.

But you have to figure they move down with one of those picks, question is which one will return greater value. Can make an argument that any t am in front of us would be looking to sell, of course this cost will be greater so maybe the 5 slot is the perfect place for a team that likes a QB to jump ahead of Carolina to get one. WhT could we reasonably return? A 1st this year and next and a day 2 pick this year? If so I would 100% do that. Especially if we are going to miss out on the blue chip Edge players. Gives us more ammo to grab quality depth for the OL later on. Just have to hope they have the right guy in here and get the FO cleaned up, if not trade both picks back for the future when you have a better plan in place. Right now, the Giants are a hot mess and no draft pick unless LT is cloned and enters is changing the outcome for this team.

Carolina didn't trade a 2, 4 in this draft and 6 last year for Darnold to give up on him this fast. Offensive line is the glaring need in Carolina. Trade down from 7 if you are going to trade down.

better not mess this draft or we are in for long term hurt. I don’t want to hear any excuses either. At 5 and 7, they better choose long-term impact players.
