Rodgers was on the Pat McAfee Show again today, laughing at our offensive gameplan with the rest of the world. pretty funny exchange - Here's what he said:
"You play to win the game.. nobody wants to be part of that. You want to get in the playoffs? No one wants to be a part of like kneeling the shit out to take a tie. You know what would make me lose my mind almost as much as that? 3rd & 9 on the -5, let's go in goal-line personnel and run a QB sneak... call that one in, and they'll see what happens."

He was playing to win. He thought the best approach in a close game with what we have on O was to avoid a killer mistake by being very conservative. The much bigger problem is having a team so bad you feel as a coach that’s your best bet.
Exactly. And if he gets stuffed for no gain, punt away. If he gets buried for a safety again, free kick it away. Both better outcomes than not even trying

on both 2nd and 3rd down and nobody would be talking about this.

Yes. This is where you turn to your Touched By The Hand of God RB and tell him to "get us at least zero yards"...

I see it differently. I believe Judge was playing not to lose and keep it to an acceptable margin. And that's what makes it worse.
Washington came into the game with one of the best rush defenses in the league (8th in yard per game allowed), but a poor pass defense (29th). What we should have done, if we were truly trying to win, is let Fromm come out throwing from the get-go. Instead, I think we only attempted 9 pass attempts in the first half.
Does that sound like a winning strategy?
Judge made a lot of mistakes in 2021, but the one that should get him fired was the way the offense was conducted once Glennon and Fromm played. It was a complete fucking joke. No one is saying Glennon and Fromm are good, but they weren't even given a chance by their coaches. Judge's staff acted like Daniel Jones was the only starting QB to ever get hurt. They were completely unprepared for it, and they didn't do anything to cater their offense to the new QB.
It was absolutely pathetic. Shameful from Judge. Shameful.
Unprepared for a QB to get hurt that gets hurt often. It was ridiculous, and you're right, emblematic of how unprepared they were.
I can almost guarantee those calls on 2nd and 3rd down were direct order from Judge to Kitchens. No OC worth their salt would make those calls.
There is no way an OC makes those calls on his own. Any HC with a clue would fire him on the spot.
(1) a team running back-to-back QB sneaks on 2nd and 3rd and long.
(2) fans defending it.
His accuracy short is all over the place, and he rarely puts air under the ball to push it down field. He can't make the throws.

The entire world is mocking us, yet some fans just don’t understand the outrage. It was probably the most embarrassed I’ve ever been as a fan. There is no defending it
Great QB, but a douchebag off it.
Fuck him. Hope he loses 3 straight NFC Championship games.
I wasn't sure I believed my eyes.

Why? Because he told you the truth?
I'd take Rodgers n my team in a millisecond.

He was playing to win?!? HE WAS PLAYING TO WIN?!?
What are you on, PCP? Or is this Joe Judge's account? Please tell me that you are not a complete brain-damaged moron and that this is a joke.

Jake Fromm, a 3rd string QB picked up from the scrap heap is a completely different player than Aaron Rodgers.
That’s bs. It’s the identity of joe judge as coach. He coaches to keep it close not to win. I guess he’d rather loose by 10 then loose by 20.
Correct, that's who Judge is. I was a lot more pissed about the conservative BS after the Bradberry interception in the first WFT game than I am about this. Who cares at this point? It's a coach who won't be there next season making a dumb play call with a QB who has no business being in there. Don't know why it is this newsworthy.

Troy Aikman called us sad. He's got like 6 brain cells left and he managed to pity us. I almost shut the game off but didn't for the main reason of seeing if I was going to miss anything worse
