We're stuck with the Mara's no matter what. Nothing anyone can do about that. Judge has been terrible here and there is something that can be done about that.
Both are probably right. Judge probably gave his two cents to Mara in his own meetings but he's not part of the hiring team directly responsible for the decision.

Given what we know maybe Judge should pick the GM. How much worse can it be. At least we can be pretty sure he won't call EA or Polian for advise.
but, who did he "ask"? I know he's not able to divulge a source for that, but all these guys "are hearing" or "asked". At least say you spoke to a team official. All of this amounts to a hill of bullshit. The bottom line is neither we nor the reporters really know what is going on right now and/or what Mara is thinking. And, we have been so terrible for so long, not a single damn decision or rumor, good or bad, seems that far fetched right now.

Uh, since we won the SuperBowl a little less than 10 years ago, not sure this makes sense. Did we suck that year?

What's your suggestion other than sell the team to new owners? I'm guessing nothing that's in the realm of reality would make you happy. Very wild guess.
