Second Giants employee to go to Duke today no?

We are pleased with change......but many lives of decent people get affected by change.

They are all big boys...but families are losing livelihoods

Made absolutely no sense to keep him.

Many are getting paid out if they had remaining years on their contracts. At good sums too.

Many are getting new jobs elsewhere. All families lives and jobs go through changes. These guys know the deal going in. It’s a high stakes business.

This was going to be a problem for Judge. He was going to overhaul a lot of his staff this offseason. Most assistants were exploring other options

Can't believe Judge sat up there and preached culture, preached how everyone was buying in- even ex players begging to come back.. this guy lied to everybody's face. IMO Judge was worse than even McAdoo and will go down as one of the biggest mistakes, along with Gettleman, in team history.

Yeah the stuff that has been floated makes me think that this would have gotten worse had he remained. Losing half his staff, the rumblings of him treating his staff like crap, inability to put a respectable offense on the field...

Jesus, no wonder this season went to shit. Where are the reports about the staff being unhappy with Judge? Haven't seen that yet.

with Duke's new HC when we were kids through HS. He is a smart guy - interesting (at least to me) that he picked up 2 guys from the Giants today.

Granduncle was the first Duke football coach. He was an All-American football player on the Pitt 1916 National Championship team. He was also a fighter pilot in WW1 and shot down two German airplanes. He was a major in the airforce in WW2 and a Judge Advocate at the Nuremberg trials.

But he did have a losing record in one year at Duke...

in college FB. I’ve said all along the staff was talented, but lacked experience at the pro level. Now please let’s hope the training guys go back to where they belong too.

BB has rescued McDaniels and Patricia and will do the same for Judge.

Didn't we have a bunch of coaches that were either head coaches or coordinators before? I think they had a lot of experience, just not successful experiences.

Good morning James. Yes the coordinators had experience but most of the position coaches and or their assistants, plus the 2 main strength guys all came directly from the college ranks. Check out their bios on Eric’s link above
