I have discounted the 2018 free agency because that was DG’s sweet spot before he left the Giants. When he came back, someone else had made a mess of the pro personnel department. DG was trying to make a big splash and especially fix the o-line but only had about 2 months to evaluate bad info and do some due diligence before free agency began. Yes, Solder was a mistake but with guys like Omameh, what he had on tape was not bad. I figure that someone thought he could switch from LG to RG. Not a lot of great work in 2019 or 2020 except Bradberry and Martinez, and 2021 may still turn out okay if Jackson and Golladay can stay on the field. I will agree with everyone who says there were a few hits but a lot of misses all 4 years.
