seriously I would do it, but I'm already a partner in a $1500 per square pool.

We won the final last year and one scoring change (this pool pays every scoring change) and your numbers change every quarter. Most I ever made or likely will ever make on one gambling transaction with my 1/6th square ownership.

Watching last year as the game changed to the 4th quarter and having the winning numbers to start the 4th quarter and then shitting bricks until Mahomes threw the pick as time wound down in the game was nerve wracking and exhilarating.

Won the 20k halftime from Bourbon Street super bowl box a few years ago. They gave him a giant envelope that had all sorts of denominations in it. Nothing like getting a bunch of 10 dollar bills mixed into your 20k. All the money was there. It was fun counting it at the office.

I put a $500 deposit on the box and it is sold out. I still have to give them the other 500 bucks, but am starting to think I might just go dolo since yolo. oh that rhymes.

last year was very clear every dollar was given out, but if you didn't tip 10% (at least) you weren't likely making it out to the parking lot with your bag of cash.

as long as you paid out 100% of what you took in it was ok.

My FIL tells a story all the time about how he went into a bar somewhere in Westchester one day on lunch, hole in the wall type place. Somehown ends up walking out w a $1000 square. Hits the final. Goes in to collect. They give him the money, but make it pretty clear hes not leaving without giving a generous tip.
