Get fitted for their shackles. John and steve take turns whipping them to see their reaction, and lastly they have to demonstrate they can properly clean the drool from chris’s mouth.

Should include telling the candidate about the organization, values, mission, vision probably in 1) above. Also clear expectations on what you as an organization are looking for. It's important that the candidate is the right fit for the Giants AND the Giants are the right fit for the candidate.
Don't get fooled by a good interview. They may be great, but it doesn't mean they are the right candidate. Timing is important. Sometimes you have to say no right now, but leave the door open for the future.

No more meals. It's mostly Zoom now
They probably talk a little about the structure of the organization
and their values, and then have the candidate talk about his accomplishments and what he thinks it takes to build a winning organization. Then they dive straight into the questions from Google.
"If you could be any kind of tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?"
"Ready? Marry/Fuck/Kill - Bea Arthur, Mare Winningham and Susan Sarandon."
"How many computer guys do you think you'll need?"
I wonder if the Giants record these Zoom meeting interviews?
If so they could go back and listen to each interview as many times as they'd like.
They could also edit all the interviews and then piece them back together to see how each candidate answered question #1, Q2, etc.
Seems like they've identified a number of great candidates. It might be tough for even the Giants to mess up this decision ;>)
I seriously doubt they record the interviews. Would be a strange thing to maintain and I can't imagine them going back and re-watching it to compare answers. I would expect they probably talk to the candidate and jot down notes.
I would guess they also specifically ask for their thoughts on the Giants' roster, how they are thinking about the Giants' picks, at least at this point in time, how they would approach the draft.
that, "I got the impression they wanted to be a running team."
I thought: Who is "they", who was in the room? The Maras, Abrams, Accorsi.
My further thought was that it almost had to be John Mara conveying that impression.
It would be interesting to be the proverbial fly to monitor whether and how the Maras drop hints of their own notions of what makes for a winning NFL team.
Perhaps events since 2017 will make them more circumspect in that regard. Perhaps.
there will be a bunch of people here that think Mara did it wrong.
Results during the last decade speak for themselves. What percentage of Giants fans think they'll get all the hires right? We're 0 for our last 4...and they haven't been bad hires, they've been terrible.

ugh.. the obsession with running is really disheartening.
Giants are known to run a pretty intensive process...

John Mara: Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Candidate: Are you still paying Joe Judge money... $5 Mill a year for 5 Years?
I'd love to be a fly on the wall.

I would bet that Chris M is having a meal during the interview. And Tisch a few adult beverages

“What’s your favorite animal?”
“Uhhhh, I don’t know. Frog?”
“Frog? Frog is wrong.”
