How many teams have new starting QBs next year

Giantimistic : 1/16/2022 3:35 pm
and what are your guesses.

There are some interesting situations developing and what is being seen as a poor QB draft. Also a lot of new coaches who may want their own QB.

Some lots of questions marks:

Atlanta Falcons: Matt Ryan
Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray
Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton (Sam Darnold out with injury)
Chicago Bears: Justin Fields
Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott
Detroit Lions: Jared Goff
Green Bay Packers: Aaron Rodgers
Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford
Minnesota Vikings: Kirk Cousins
New Orleans Saints: Taysom Hill (Jameis Winston out with injury)
New York Giants: Mike Glennon (Daniel Jones out with injury)
Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts
San Francisco 49ers: Jimmy Garoppolo
Seattle Seahawks: Russell Wilson
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tom Brady
Washington Football Team: Taylor Heinicke (Ryan Fitzpatrick out with an injury)
Murray, Fields

Prescott and Stafford

Are question marks in regards to returning to their teams next season?

I put the list of all starting QBs in 2021
I think the Bills turn to Trubisky next year

that Josh Allen guy is terrible.
Seriously though
eric2425ny : 1/16/2022 3:55 pm : link
I can imagine up to 10 QB changes:

1.) Pittsburgh
2.) New Orleans
3.) Denver
4.) Washington
5.) Houston (not sure if they stick with Mills as starter)
6.) Detroit (maybe they stick with Goff one more year)
7.) San Francisco (Lance will be starter next year)
8.) Carolina
9.) Cleveland (they aren’t resigning Mayfield to a big deal)
10.) Giants (maybe, never know with a new GM and coach)

Could be quite the game of QB musical chairs this offseason

Possibilities include Seattle, Green Bay, Denver, Houston, Cleveland, Vegas, WFT, Pittsburgh, NYG, Detroit, NO, Indy, Philly, Carolina
Ideal time to trade Jones
kelly : 1/16/2022 5:19 pm : link
His market value will be inflated by needy teams. And the fact the line and receivers were so terrible will have teams believing that Jones is much better than he showed.

Also quarterback class is weak this year.

I could see Saints trading for Jones

Are you joking?
I can't see the Saints being interested in Jones

I can see you *fantasizing* that the Saints would like Jones.

If they can get what the Jets got for the ghost seer that might be a good haul.
Watching Hurts
Giantimistic : 1/16/2022 8:12 pm : link
Is what really got me thinking. Eagles have 3 high picks. I could see them take a shot on one of the qbs in the first round and have competition for Hurts.

Three potential big trades include Wilson, Watson and Rodgers but I think Rodgers stays—maybe they trade Love.

Pittsburgh is going to be really interesting to see where they go.

Not sure what Carolina is going to do but I would think they are most likely to go in to draft a QB or maybe they are the ones who go for Wilson.

It is going to be really interesting.
Glennon???
Debaser : 1/17/2022 11:01 am : link
Am I reading the OP correctly ? he is going to start here? I wanted it to work for Glennon ; partly to prove all the Jones-felatos on here how bad Jones was, but Glennon is not even here next year , let alone starting.

That list is who ended the season as starting QBs for all teams in the league. Not who is going to start going forward. It is just a list to give a better idea of where every team ended the season.
Oh wow...
Jerry in_DC : 1/17/2022 1:18 pm : link
...the Eagles with Watson would be so bad for us. I didn't even think about that one. I know all his shit don't really want to root for him (barring some major changes in the story), but he is a good QB and young.
There will be more teams...

when you count injuries.

I would love to be able to pickup Foles for one year but he is under contract
