1. His offenses always come up short in big spots
2. That play call had to originate with him, McCarthy might have ok’d it, but that is the playcaller play.
3. Let the Cowboys employee a form of McCarthy and him (successor when they cut ties with McCarthy).
I know they put up gaudy numbers(a lot of talent), but the execution at key moments just stinks
He looks like the dude from White Lotus who is pissed he can’t get the Pineapple suite
Can't wait to hear who called that play. But I get the feeling he's going to indeed get Mccarthy's job and will be just as successful as the last OC that ushered into the head spot...JG.
I hope somehow he stays in Dallas. And, yes, I think he is overrated given the talent he has had on offense.
I think he's pretty solid. He's not Reid, Payton, or McVay. But Dallas was #1 in PPG this year. They were 6th in 2019 (throwing out 2020 because Dak went down). So, whatever he's doing seems to be working.

Is anybody putting him in the same category as the play callers I mentioned? I don't think so.
He's got talent to work with and they led the league in PPG. What else do you want?

Win!?!?
Prescott and the offense looked no where near confident the way they did earlier in the year.
They just never really got things going in November/December.

They won 12 games.
Seriously, is ANYONE surprised the 9ers won? This wasn't an upset.

The OL fell off. Even today with the Niners injuries they were getting pressure.
Dak’s Achilles is having to win the game imv and this rears it’s head playoff time. Pretty common with many QB’s. Now if Dallas was gaining big yards on the ground things may have been different. Physicality tends to win in the playoffs.
Where was Lamb’s head today?
Imagine the NY Post headlines if they are doing poorly and he is on the hot seat: “Do you smell bacon!”
LOL...Or he "Found out who his father was" face
Thats whats more crazy to me. They practicd it and didnt execute.
Part of the problem is that many perrenially overrate their roster talent by 30%.
I don't why, but when you put a star on a guys helmet people start raving about how talented he is, and it is worse among Giants fans.
Dallas has a good roster, not a superbowl roster.
Tampa Bay has a lombardi, a better roster and a far better QB, and they dont have the one seed either.

I think the problem is Dak ran too far. Had he given himself up five yards earlier, they very likely get the chance to spike the ball.
Dallas always manages to hire excellent coordinators but there is a lot of competition for coordinators this offseason and the other destinations might seem more attractive since McCarthy will be on the hot seat if he returns.
If McCarthy is fired I would love to see the Giants try to poach ST Coordinator John Fassel from Dallas. I doubt Jerry lets him leave but if he is willing to move on he would make a great addition to the new staff.
